COMPLETELY SORROW

Xheilyn's POV

I headed back home after I finished the last class, I was informed that Veron didn't went to school because she had an emergency I was worried and confused about it,I tried to call her but she didn't answer any of the rings,I message her to call me back but I ended waiting for nothing so I skipped for the few things and went to home.

Alyssa call me again in FaceTime for another session but I told her I can't come because I had an emergency,she just nodded and assured me it was fine.

I rushed to open the door and straight to the dining but no one's there,the house is even noiseless. I ascended upstairs but the room is empty when I took a searched. I was starting to worried horrified. I pop my phone and dial Veron's number,it keeps ringing but she's not answering,I dialed Aunt Mi's number and Uncle Nick but they both didn't answered it freaked me out that I almost threw my cell to the wall.

I came out and call for taxi. I leave a message again to Veron begging to tell me what's really happening or else I ended up drowning myself to the river again and died,I know it's a call for a threat but I don't care their situation now is what my concerned.

In a minute I received a message from Veron,looks like my threat is effective but my heart races rapidly and I almost whipping when he texted they were on Hospital, what they are doing there?did someone hurt?is this Taerror warned me that his mom could harm us by any means?I'm nervous!what if my family were on trouble and hurt because of me?I swear I won't forgive myself if ever something happened to them! I immediately told the driver when Veron texted me the name of the Hospital.

I even keep telling the driver to rush at speed and even up to presto,I even sense I made him upset for being an importunate to him.

The clicking of my heels shoe made a noise as I entered the hallway and reached for the lobby with a woman on all white outfit for a nurse uniform.

"May I help you Ma'am?"she said giving me a short smile.

"May I know the room for Mrs. Polaris?"

"Full name please?"she asked.

"Mildred Polaris"

"8th floor room 1037"I nodded and rushed for elevator and press the 8th floor.

I searched for the room 1037 where on left corner with a dandelion paint. I opened the door like I was dying to enter the room and saw Aunt Mildred lying on the hospital bedstead. I was shaking to saw her looking miserable on that hospital dress,how thus  a day made her an ill figure? I bet she loose a bit pounds and her eyelids gets darken and I concluded those teary eyes looking to me.

Veron and Uncle Nick welcome me a hug while their sobbing. Tears also escaping from my eyes corner,I reached for aunt Mi when I pulled back.

"Aunt Mi..."I uttered holding her palm and made a pet as I stared to her awfully.

"You don't look good"I burst sobbing. I sense she's making a difficult to ran out words.

"What happened?"I asked leaning to Uncle Nick and Veron.

A female doctor came in before they can say anything I stood immediately and faced her.

"Doc how is she?"I asked heavily.

"I'm sorry but the test has came out for result and she has a kidney stone failing to spread and being propagate, we also see that she had a tumor"

I gasped,how come aunt Mi had suffered from such a disease?I heard Veron is crying uncle Nick is sobbing too...

"Is it benign?or...malignant?"I asked frightened afraid to her next word.

"We already had undertaken a biopsy and it's...malignant I'm sorry"I burst out and hug Veron tightly.

"Can you do something?"veron asked I felt pity for her.

"Is there a possibility that my wife will be save?can she survive?"Uncle Nick asked finding hope for those words.

"The tumor is big now on her abdomen,if we were going to take an surgical operation since she also had a kidney stones there's a big possibility her life would be at risk,I'm sorry but if she gone check up earlier I think there's a big chance she could live and..."

"And?"I added waiting for her to attained.

"Say it doc!we wanted to know!"Veron almost shouting.

"And ..her condition is severe I'm afraid her time is on limits she's on the last term"she said and made a permission to leave for the other patients.

"No!"Veron burst at resentment and hug aunt Mi.

All of us in the room are in sorrow,if ever we wanted her to take an operation,where we can get money to pay bills?my mind even blasted full blown I can't think right.

"Aunt Mi did you know this before?"I asked whipping.

"Ahh"she can't even speak a word.

I can't let go but to cry atloud,I was thinking Veron's feeling now.

"Why you haven't told?"Veron's voice is shaking badly.

"Don't blame her"uncle Nick defended.

"You know?"Veron speak while our eyes on him.

"Dad?"Veron uttered.

He shook her head and sat on the floor awfully. We cried at loud again.

"Since you knew already that this were coming,are you really planning to left me behind like Xheilyn?"she cried facing to Uncle Nick.

"Sweetheart, she just don't want to feel you worried"uncle Nick said.

"Dad of course we will be worried!we are family!and I'm your daughter!"she yelled wiping her tears fallen consintently. I touch her shoulder making her at comfort even in just a coddle.

Aunt Mi wanted to say a word but sound of whipping are only been heard from her.

"Mom!"Veron said at gasped.

"Will you fight for me?for Xheilyn?for Dad?will you fight for us?!"Veron whipped again.

Aunt only cried,not for herself but to us.

"We have still time..."I said while Veron looked at me.

"I... can't..."she slammed at the floor listless.

I immediately draw near to her and catch her gazed holding her both cheeks with my bare hands.

"You have to fight...do it for her...if she saw you being strong she will leave happily, that's the only thing you can give for one last time"I whispered to her ears while sobbing.

"I'm not like you..."she buried her face to mine.

"You were me...and more..."I said and gave her a warm tight hug.

We bought fruits and flowers for aunt Mi before I came back to Taerror's flat it's already past 7 o'clock and Margaret informed me that she will just give me her notes and Lucas to Veron since we skipped our class this afternoon,my eyes still swelled and my heart felts sorrowed for just what happened.

I opened the door sapless,and saw Taerror standing backslid like he was used to. He turned around and I saw him holding a wine of glass with a concerned on his expression as he looked at me.

"Hi"I said and give him a short and strained smile.

"Where have you been?you didn't take the session"he said putting  his wine on the glass table.

"I..I..."

"What happened?"he sound worried as he walked close to me.

No way I'll cry in front of him,please heart...let's calm please.. please don't cry...not now...

She held my shoulder. OH my! I already felt my wet cheeks. I slowly looked to him.

"Aunt Mi..."I uttered.

"Your aunt?what happened?"he asked waiting for my next word.

"She's dying"I said holding back my tears. I saw a mark of shock on his face and looked to me at pity.

"You want to visit her?"he said that made me at surprise.

"But—

"She's important than anything else!"he said cutting my words while I  gave him a nod.

"Prepare yourself and I will escort you"he said and left me entering his room before I can say another word.

We drive through the evening,I feel exhausted already,I just did a rush shower and change my clothes into broad yellow shirt and white jeans. Taerror drove for me to the Hospital, he coveyed me to aunt Mi's room and stayed there waiting for me to drive back home.

"Thanks for staying,you should go home now and rest"I said giving him a smile.

"I'm staying"he said.

"I'm staying here also,and you...you don't have to be here you looked tired already"I said .

"You were looked more exhausted,did you bring extra shirt?"he asked flipping the topic.

"I'm fine—

"Wait here,I'll by you clothes"he said and turn around. I immediately held his back holding the edge of his black coat.

"Uhm...it would be fine if you had someone to accompany"I said holding back from his coat. He just gave me a grin and we both walked out of the building.

We started heading back of the large hallway,as we choose buying dresses ...I  observed he had a lot of knowledge choosing for girls things,how many times did she purchased dresses for her girlfriends?

"This wasn't your first time don't you?"I asked that made him looked at me.

"First time of what?"

"Buying girls things!you looked fully aware what girls wants...I should known you already buy Karen's dressed here"I said still walking.

"First of all Karen is never been my girlfriend,she is just one of my flings...and don't think I have known better about girls things just because I already did it to my past girlfriends"he said looking at me seriously.

"I always come along with my big sister whenever she shopped for herself"he said preceding to the door way.

"Is vitasoy is good?"Taerror asked as we finally walked out of the mall.

"Uhm,yeah! Why do you asked?"I said curiously.

"Then it's good for your Aunt let's buy her a couple of it"he said opening the door car for me.

"Is this the first time you opened the car for me?"I asked to him as I stood right before the door.

"Then you should be felt flattered"he raised his eyebrows.

"Oh then thank you"I chuckled as I enter and sat to the passenger seat.

He sat on the driver seat and start driving.

"She will love tasting your pudding"I said shyly breaking the silenced,how come I had that urge to be open with him?

He glanced at me with raised eyebrows.

"I will make her tomorrow"he said and I smiled while nodded.

Taerror left back for home after he escorted me to aunt Mi's room,I assured him I will do him a favor if he rest and went home. He surrender and ended up saying goodbye.(practically he didn't say goodbye,he just left where we know he is leaving).

"You look wakeful"Veron said while we sat on silver metal chair outside of Aunt Mi's room,she's asleep now.

"I'm fine,your eyes still swelling"I said to her.

"It's nothing compared to Dad and mom's eyes"she said having blank expression.

I held her hand and smiled at her. We both sighed like breathtaking.

"We should create happy memories she can bring as she with us for the last day of her life"I said pulling myself to not sound sobb.

"I can't believe she's leaving"she cried,I leaned to her and saw her cheek wet by tears,she cried too much.

"If you cried too much, I bet Gravier won't like seeing your swelling eyes"I hope it can make her feel better.

She made a grin and wiped her dried tears.

"She's not leaving,she will always be in our heart remember?"I added.

She looked at me and  slant her head to my shoulder while tear-eyed.

"Shhhh"I whispered stopping her.

"Your right..."she said and fall asleep.

I called uncle Nick and helped me to move Veron inside the room and occupied the long settee there, since Taerror helped us to move aunt Mildred to the VIP room and a space were we can sleep,I owe him with that since he insist to pay all the bills it cost.

I assisted uncle Nick for carrying Veron as I'm worried he might fell Veron from his hand due of his weak resistance.

"Get sleep Uncle I can guard Aunt Mi"I said Ang give him a wide soft smile.

"I can do it myself,you should sleep early you still have your class tomorrow...you already look crummy"he said and I chuckled.

"That's too much uncle"I frowned.

"Alright I will sleep before 12 and then alternate,but first you should take a doze... right uncle?"I said raising my eyebrows.

"Alright"he frowned at surrender and laid on the other settee.

I sighed and sat next to aunt Mi's bed. She really looked unhealthy and sick. I held her hand and kissed her knuckles.

"Sleep well Aunt Mi...you don't have to worry about us...I promise I will take care of them..."I whispered and nail her strands and place it back to her forehead and leave a kiss.

I laid my head and closed my eyes as drowsiness swallow me brought the depth of the night.

I slowly face up and saw Aunt Mi awaken.

"Aunt Mi"I uttered.

"Do you want something?are you hungry?"I asked stooding and fixing her sheet.

"I-m-- ...fi..n-..e"she uttered intricately.

I sighed at relief and sat again I checked the wall clock and it's already 4 o'clock in the morning,I should prepare for school. I leaned to Uncle,were now next to Veron they still asleep I bet they are really tired.

I looked at her again and smiled holding her right hand.

"Do you want something Mi?"I asked trying not to weep. Her lips were dried and looked really paled.

She slowly shook her head and draw a smile all over her face.

"I was wanting to saw that smile again"I said smiling softly.

"Ho-w...a-re.. y-ou-...?"she said trying to ran out those words.

"I'm great!"I said giving an energy supporting my words.but I lied,I'm actually tired and exhausted already, my eyelids even fail to close as I hold back myself fighting to keep myself awake.

"I'm still healthy and strong...you know you did a great job taking care of me"I gave her a wide smile— she deserves.

She made a chuckle sound,I love that!

"H-ow d..-o I ..l-o..o-k?"

"You look really bad...I'm sure the mirror will really have great damage if you peep your self"I said scolding her.

"C-an.. I..s-ti-ll...do-...th-e..sa-lon...?"she giggled.

"Oh yes!but better yet you have to be look healthy so that makeup will look good more to you"I said and smiled.

"You should sleep more"I said truckling her hair with my finger tips.

"I will be on guard"i whispered and place a kiss on her forehead before she closed her eyes.

I stretched my arms extending it upwardly when I heard someone knocking on the door.

I reached for the door knob and saw dashing face of Taerror on his dark long sleeve together with his black lax pants while carrying a paper bag on his right hand.

"Hey"I uttered widening the door way for him to enter.

He entered carefully as he was afraid he could make any noise to interrupt those asleep tired people.

"Your here?"I mumbled at surprise.

"I guess I have to take this"he said lifting the paper bag he carried.

"Thanks!"I smiled softly." But your too early"I added.

"I can't sleep and you...your still on the same clothes,you still have a class"he said looking at me firmly.

I put the paper bag on the top of the bedside table.

"I can't leave her,no one will watch over her"I said.

"Take a shower I'll watch over her"

"No! You don't have to,I don't want you to carry my responsibility"

"Don't over think that!or you just want me to watched over you as you take your shower?"he said with a spoiling grin.

My eyes widen,here we are again!

"Stop!"I snapped and headed to the bathroom room and took the bag we shopped early at the night. I gave him a choky look before shutting the door.
