Shoyo is still persistent and made a 14-0 run, after making stops and three pointers. Sakuragi became the cash cow of the opponent and targeted him repeatedly.

"Shohoku 70 vs. 58 Shoyo, Shohoku is now leading by twelve points!" He said.

After getting his fourth foul, he became timid and lacks the energy like before.

"Sakuragi-kun!" Haruko is also worried about him.

"What the heck are four fouls anyway!! I am a genius!! There won't be any problems!" Sakuragi said.

"Dang!" another chance for the rebound, after a missed jumper from Hanagata and finally Hanamichi got this rebound.

"I'm really a genius!!" Sakuragi said.

"Nice job!!"

"It's already his tenth rebound!"

"Really awesome, Sakuragi-kun" Shohoku's bench are cheering for him.

"That explosive bouncing ability... it's enough to be no. one in the prefecture... Even in the entire country there aren't many people who can jump that high!" Hikoichi said.

"Back to defense!!" Fujima doesn't what waste this chance for a comeback.

Rukawa finds a gap in between of the three Shoyo defenders and lays the ball smoothly in. there was a little suspense in the air when the ball almost went out and came back in.

"Sakuragi grabs the rebound, while the super rookie Rukawa fearlessly attacks the defense!! This rookie combo is hard to deal w/..." Fujima said.

"The situation is out of Fujima's control..." Maki of Kainan said.

"Those has improved quite a bit! They're getting as the game gets tougher!" Sendoh of Ryonan said.

"Rukawa...! Don't think of showing off anymore, you punk!!" Sakuragi said.

"Aren't you the one who's thinking of showing off, idiot!" he replied.

"Well... aren't you afraid of fouling you punk!?" Shoyo player said to Sakuragi.

"I'm not afraid of anyone! Coz I'm a genius!!" Sakuragi replied.

"Damn it! Fujima!!" the Shoyo player can't shake off the defense of Sakuragi.

"Nice defense, Sakuragi!" Kogure got the loss ball.

"Megane... Four-eyed brother!!" Sakuragi got that ball and close followed by several Shoyo players.

"Go for it, Sakuragi!!" the bench and his gang is cheering for him.

"Watch and see the power of the genius, Sakuragi!!" he said.

"Hanagata! Foul him!! He can't shoot free throws!!"Fujima said.

Two Shoyo players is against him, all three of them jumps together but one Shoyo player flied away after he bump into Sakuragi.

"Waaahhh!!" everyone was shocked on how strong and violent that slam dunk was.

"Sakuragi!!" his gang and team's bench has gone wild but it was short live after the referee whistled.

"Fweeett!!" the ref is really a fan of Sakuragi.

"Offensive foul! Shohoku no. ten!" the game announcer said.

"The basket won't be counted!!" Shohoku's fans reaction.

W/ one minute left in the game, Sakuragi leaves the court after he got five personal fouls.

"Hey!" Rukawa said.

"Huh... are gonna laugh at me?" Sakuragi said.

"W/ your abilities and that dunk, it's a shame!" Rukawa back to defense and Sakuragi returned to bench.

"You're awesome, Sakuragi!" Yasuda said.

"Super rebounder, Sakuragi!" his gang of friends said.

"Just as expected! He's really too awesome!! I've to super pay attention on him!!" Hikoichi said.

"Sakuragi!!! 5x" when Sakuragi left the court, among all cheering today is the loudest and can rival the cheering of the Shoyo's side.

"You're incredible... you're getting much better... Sakuragi-kun!!" Haruko said.

"You did well!! Hanamichi Sakuragi! How did feel to finally dunk?! Although it was a foul..." Ayako said.

"I... was too cocky before... Ayako-san..." Sakuragi replied.

"This reaction is a bit surprising..." Ayako expected an overexcited him like before. "Hahaha.. I am a genius!!" is what she normally see from him.

"Again... another outstanding person has appeared..." Coach Riki Takato of Kainan said.

"Sensei... you're here!" Maki said.

"I'm the most outstanding among them, Takato-Sensei!!" Kiyota is like himself as usual.

"We can't lose to them!!" Sakuragi's gang said.

"Shohoku!!! 3x"

"Shoyo!!! 3x" both team's fans are also competing on who's the loudest.

"Ok!! Leave it to us!!" Akagi said.

Shohoku used all up their remaining strength to compete w/in remaining 1:50 minutes in the game.

"Even though Shoyo tried their hardest to fight back... Shohoku never backed down from the challenge!" Coach Taoka said.

"Beeepp!!!" the buzzer sounded and finally the winner has been decided.

"Game is over!! "Shohoku 80 vs. 68 Shoyo, Shoyo is beaten by twelve points!" the game announcer said.

"We've won!!" Shohoku bench can finally celebrate this hard earned victory.

"One more! Finals is here!!" Shohoku players shouted.

"If Fujima could have focused on being a player from the start, if Shoyo had an official coach... maybe this wouldn't be the result..." Coach Taoka said.

"Shohoku 80 vs. 68 Shoyo, winner is Shohoku!!" the ref said, as both of the teams' player are back on the court for the handshake.

"Thank you for the game!!" Shoyo players were in tears of defeat while Shohoku is in tears as the winner.

"W/ this Maki's and Fujima's era is already over... Kanagawa will move to a new era w/ new guys arising to the throne..." Coach Taoka said.

"Hey!! Sakuragi!! Good job!! Even it was just luck..." Sakuragi's gang said.

"Sheeesh... Sorry! For now no one's allowed to enter!" Kogure said, Shohoku's players were pretty tired after they played really hard today and feel asleep in the locker room.

While, Mitsui was really tired so he took a shower, before leaving he said goodbye to Coach Anzai and the team. The same w/ Sakura's family, they happily went home since the team just won and saw the young neighbor performance was incredible.
