Tsurugi replies, "King Draco?"
Once again, Tsurugi's mind flashed back to a dark period in his life; this time, it was when he was on the battlefield during the civil war, fighting for the mad prince.
Tsurugi and Toxic were once friends in the army, attempting to make Skypiea fall to the mad prince's agenda. However, the events of a certain day changed everything.
While gearing up for the next battle, Tsurugi eavesdropped on a nearby conversation and heard the following words:
"We have leaked information that **Wrath** will be present for the next engagement, alongside another, unidentified, member of the 7 sins."
One man says, "Wrath? pfft. No way, she's the strongest woman in history; there's no way she'd be present at such a meaningless engagement. And two of the sins? In one battle? Forget about it."
But for Tsurugi, this was enough. He hated killing at this stage in his life, which demotivated him from fighting. However, the threat of death to this degree was more than enough to cause him to leave.
Tsurugi quickly packed his bags and began walking away from the base, attempting to start life anew or maybe even join the High King of Skypiea's army. However, he was quickly stopped by Toxic, who said, "Tsurugi? What makes you leave the base?"
But Tsurugi didn't reply. He kept walking; his walk turned into a brisk walk, a jog, and then a run. He became the laughing stock of the base.
Many weeks later, all those who were at the base lived to regret not following Tsurugi. All but one died during that incident. Toxic, bloodied and destroyed, vomiting out blood and spitting out his teeth, was saved by the commander "Draco." Draco's clash with "***Wrath***" was short-lived, as engaging in a battle like that wouldn't have been beneficial to either.
The words Draco said to Toxic stuck with him for the rest of his life. Draco said, "Get up, Toxic. Today we may have lost, and tomorrow we may lose again, but the battle is never over. Our dead friends are martyrs, and their dead friends are pigs."
Toxic soon passed out.
These days, Draco stood true to his word; his leader's entire army had been wiped out, the Mad Prince being murdered by the High King of Skypiea. Yet Draco, still, to this day, is adamant about claiming the Skypiean throne.
He says, "This world is about to boil over; all this talk about a 'Fallen Angel' from heaven is pissing me off, more and more idiotic monkeys falling for fairy-tales."
One of his subordinates says, "Well, what about the Blood King of Hell? There's a well-reported run-in with him from last we-"
Draco interjects, "All fantasies made up by the High King of Skypiea, to delude his followers into thinking there are those with power like him, to delude them into thinking there are those who could match him alone."
Draco walks out of his cave, overlooking the main city of the Skypiean Kingdom, Goa City. The sun shines on Draco's face as he says, "The path to victory is through their blood; to crush their skulls open is the only way to win, there is no compromise."
