Helaqin

It's stinger was at the back of its abdomen.It saw only heat,and only saw people.Dinner.

If flew,as it always had done.With the rest of the population killed,it was its species's last hope.So it flew,on its four fly like wings and stung.Its stinger ejected,like an arrow.It pierced through a humans torso and entrails flew out,blood spilling everywhere,stomach matter staining another's shirt.

It retracted it's stinger,flying down to gobble up it's catch,and dodging a fireball in the process.

It screeched,slapping its head on a tree,breaking it from its lower half.The tree fell,landing on whoever could not escape.With the distraction,the helaqiun flew.

Shudder saw this and climbed the nearest tree.Branch by branch,he was about the low-flying giant insect,and dived into it.He crashed,his back scratched by the sandpaper like wings it had.He punched its head,a thumb digging into its beast eyes.

The insect saved its screams,flapping its wings furiously trying to shake of Anton Shudder.

Shudder could not be shook off,and broke a wing which he threw in the air.The wing came back down,landing on the Helaqiun's other wing.

The insect could not handle this any longer,and stung,it's stinger shot out,a string keeping it from falling.It almost hit Shudder,but the insect misjudged the angle,and impaled itself.

Now it screamed,a animalistic like cry for help.But no one was there to help it.Shudder punched,and the three segmented creature fell.With no strength left,it did not bother to save itself.

Shudder rode the dropping helaquin like a surfboard.Directing it into a leafed tree,softening the impact.

Now it was dead meat.And Shudder rolled off,his back aching.He saw the battle ahead,and went with the army.His gist waiting to be released.
