Blissful,yet painful

The man himself walked in.2 meters tall,just higher than Skulduggery,with broad shoulders and a muscular frame.Oh,the funny one!Skulduggery thought as he walked into the room.

"He is tame.Do not,for once,kill him."Echan ordered,and the soldiers put their weapons down.However,not all were ordered that easily.A necromancer,that the temple so kindly gave to the war effort did not put his weapon down.Oh,what a mistake.

Blur,his name was,twisted his arm and shadows moved from the corners to his glove.It pulsed,once,twice,and exploded.The shadows burst from his glove and wrapped around the tall man.It squeezed him,cut him,stabbed him.But nothing broke his skin.Then the tall man looked into Blur's eyes,his pale blue eyes penetrating sanity.Blur stopped moving,felt its effect.

It was nothing.There was nothing.There was no pain.No discomfort.But no happiness.It was peaceful,blissful,and it was going to kill him.He moved,his immense strength could he felt as the ground shook.He walked,walked to Blur,and punched.

Now Blur didn't feel anything but pain.And agony.And more pain.His ribs broke.His organs punctured.His spine severed at more that one place.He broke.As his brain made one last ditch effort to kill the tall man.He curled the shadows around the tall mans neck.

He tried to cut,but the tall man said,"I am Bliss.You do not kill me."And Blur died that second as Mr Bliss finished his sentence.

Metorious sighed,and took a deep breath,and continued,"Mr Bliss has joined us,fortunately,he no longer is a follower of the faceless ones.And will be joining us for the week until he leaves for another country to fight."

Mr Bliss spoke in a commanding tone only Echan would be able to pull off,"I have intel that attacks will be directed everywhere.From Ireland,to London,to Africa.No where is safe,so we must attack,and kill,whoever follows them.Spare my sister,China sorrows,I can change her ways.I repeat,do NOT kill my sister."With that Mr Bliss walked off.

Skulduggery was a trusted individual,everything you would want in a soldier,except he was stubborn.He had met Mr Bliss before,and knew how he worked.He was not to be messed with.Ghastly took his stuff,ranging from his boxing gloves to his sewing gear,and headed for the next mission.

Bliss did not join to duo,and instead walked into the battlefield itself,watching as people fought.The village town hall was under constant attack now,and Skulduggery was going to fight the attack,by walking into the lions den.

Bliss killed everything that he could reach,and did not bother running.If anything was close,he would throw a punch or lash out a kick,and in one shot,the person would die.But the dumb soldiers were getting smarter,they came in threes and fours.The first wave of soldiers were consisting of 2 necromancers and 1 energy thrower.A necromancer held a sword,which he swung at Bliss's head.And the second necromancer held a bow that had a shadow arrow,the shadows formed into a pulsing arrow that rushed towards Bliss's head.

Bliss just stood there,frowning,head titled.He grabbed the sword midair and twisted,the shadows almost piercing his hand.This was a good necromancer.The arrow on the other hand,was a weak one,which Mr Bliss dived under,sword still in hand.Bliss broke the metal sword in two and the shadows fluttered back to the necromancer.Bliss looked the other and noticed the bow wielding necromancer aim.He felt the air behind him move and dodged a energy blast from the energy thrower.The arrow missed,and hit the energy thrower in the shoulder.Bliss took this chance to rip off the swordless necromancer's head,and strutted toward the already shooting necromancer.He ducked under another stream of magic and blocked a shadow arrow with his hand,kicking its shooter in the groin.He doubled over,then tripled over as limbs broke and muscles shifted at breakneck speed,the strength was so intense that it actually broke his neck.Nice.

The energy thrower was calling for backup at this point,gathering his magic for another strike,but Bliss intercepted,stabbing him with a piece of sword he had in his other hand.The energy thrower bled to death,from both of his wounds.

Skulduggery saw this,and notched an arrow in his bow,shooting an elemental near the battle that had fire in his hand.It hit head on,piercing his chest,right in his heart.Ghastly was down below,punching his way through a line of sorcerers.

The battle was pushed back because of the three,they had half of the heads earned by the attacked.Give it a day,we can win this.Metorious decided,sitting in his room while making deductions,one of which was what to have for dinner.
