Meet Chimon...My Father

(Summer went by btw, lol)

Lynnon-" Hey babe"

(Ezekiel look down at Lynnon who was laying her head in his lap)

Lynnon-" I think I want to get a job soon"

Ezekiel-" A job? Why?"

Lynnon-" I just thought I could probably do something with my free days rather than being cooped up in the house. I also don't really want to bother your mom with paying me anymore... or you with having to pay for bills when I could be helping too"

Ezekiel-" Why don't you just focus on school? There's no need to get a job NOW. And if you end up getting one, I won't have as much time with you"

(Ezekiel takes Lynnon in his lap and hugs her. She giggles)

Lynnon-" I know but if I somehow get a job like you where you can do a lot of your stuff at home, I would still like to do and earn things on my own rather than have everything given to me. I feel guilty"

(Ezekiel sighs and loosens up on her)

Ezekiel-" I mean... if you really want to"

(Ezekiel had a face of disappointment)

Lynnon-" It's ok. You'll see me plenty"

Ezekiel-" Either way, it'll be less"

(Ezekiel cuffs her face, squishing it a bit. It made her look cute)

Ezekiel-" I want my bear to stay with me"

(Lynnon softly smiles. Ezekiel slowly pulls her in and they have a cute and small kiss. Lynnon gets up and begins to walk to the kitchen)

Lynnon-" I'm gonna get a snack"

(Suddenly Ezekiel gets a phone call. He looks at his phone and it was his father. He hesitated to pick it up but he did nonetheless)

Ezekiel-" Sir"

Chimon-" Hello Ezekiel"

Ezekiel-" Is there... something you needed"

Chimon-" Today's nice, yes?"

(Ezekiel looks out the huge window that was basically the front wall for the living room. It was sunny with few clouds, and the temperature wasn't too hot or cold)

Chimon-" I want you to meet me to eat lunch. I'd like to talk to you about-"

(Suddenly Ezekiel hears Lynnon call out to him from the kitchen and Chimon could hear her though he couldn't make out what she was saying)

Lynnon-" Did you want something babe?"

(Ezekiel pulls the phone away a bit from his ear)

Ezekiel-" Could you get me a water?"

Lynnon-" Mhm!"

(Ezekiel pulls the phone back up to his ear and Chimon speaks up right away)

Chimon-" Who could that be?"

Ezekiel-" I... um..."

(Ezekiel looks back at Lynnon reaching into the fridge for his water)

Chimon-" Go on. You must be home at this time so who was that?"

Ezekiel-" That was... my girlfriend"

(Chimon became quiet for a second)

Chimon-" So a woman? Tell me, was it that one who helped you with your... injury"

Ezekiel-" Yes sir..."

Chimon-" Great! I'd like you to bring her with you so she could meet me"

(Ezekiel's eyes enlarge)

Ezekiel-" What?"

Chimon-" You heard me. Jinsu Center. You have 30 minutes"

(Suddenly Chimon hangs up and Ezekiel is left in shock. Back came walking Lynnon with a small bowl of grapes, a Snapple and bottled water)

Ezekiel-" You should put that in the fridge"

(Ezekiel stands up as Lynnon looks at him in confusion)

Ezekiel-" You're going to meet someone"

Lynnon-" Who?"

Ezekiel-" My father"

(Ezekiel and Lynnon change into casual clothing and head over to Jinsu Center, a mainly secluded park with flowers of all kinds and calming sitting areas. The two of them get there and see Chimon sitting down at one of the small tables that were around the park. Immediately, Chimon sees them, rather Lynnon's outfit, straight away. Lynnon was wearing sunflower-yellow corduroy pants, a cropped white button-up with contemporary black shape outlines, long white socks that hid her ankles under her original checkered vans, and a black supreme fanny pack she had wrapped across her torso. Her hair was half up half down with a small ponytail in the top back. Chimon stands up as they approach. Chimon puts his hand out to shake Lynnons hand)

Chimon-" Hi. I'm Chimon Imai. It's a pleasure to meet you"

(Lynnon shakes his hand)

Lynnon-" I'm Lynnon and the pleasures all mine. I've heard a bit about you"

(The three of them sit down at the table, they talk as cherry blossoms fill the air around them)

Chimon-" Your outfit is quite to the choice. I like your unique sense of fashion. It gives me ideas for future groups"

(Lynnon smiles)

Lynnon-" Thank you"

Chimon-" You go to the same university as my son, yes?"

Lynnon-" Yes"

Chimon-" What do you major in?"

Lynnon-" I major in Studio Art"

(Chimon chuckles)

Chimon-" Your style gives off that... aesthetic. Could I see your work?"

(Lynnon pulls out her phone)

Lynnon-" I'm sure I have some pictures"

(Lynnon scrolls through her pictures and finds a few he could look at, including the contemporary romance piece that Ezekiel was there to help her throughout)

Chimon-" You are quite the artist! Your know, I could really use another artist in our creative department"

(Ezekiel's eyes widen. He didn't even want Lynnon to meet his dad but now he was about to hire her?!)

Chimon-" It's actually the same department Ezekiel here works in"

(Lynnon looks over at Ezekiel and nudges him though his expression didn't change towards Chimon. He hated to see him act like this in front of Lynnon)

Chimon-" I'm sure, if you don't have a job already, I could quickly secure you a spot in the department. That is if you want to"

(Lynnon nods)

Lynnon-" Yeah, I'd love to. Thank you"
