187. a mysterious figure behind Edward
The man chuckled with displeasure with the judge's decision on Edward's sentence. The cell phone in his trouser pocket vibrated and he grabbed it right away. The name Boss is the caller.
"How?" A man's voice came from the man's speakerphone.
"Edward only gets life in prison." The man replied as he looked at Edward, who was now being led out by police officers.
"Not a death sentence?"
"No, boss." The man's eyes followed Edward until they disappeared behind the door.
"What useless rubbish. That little thing he can't solve. You know what to do with a failed person like Edward, don't you?" Ask boss with a threatening aura. he had to make sure Edward died before he could speak out about him.
