The Fiance and the Mother (Part 1)
He looked at the two women on the couch waiting for his arrival. Each woman was impeccably dressed, as always, and they were having tea and snacks when they arrived.
However, the two immediately stopped talking when they entered, their sharp eyes tracing both of them. Well on Thaddeus, as he stopped fully entering through the anteroom, so they didn't quite see Naia yet.
To be frank, he didn't want to expose Naia to this toxicity either.
Regardless, their eyes hovered specifically on their intertwined hands.
There was silence in the room, and all they heard was the grandfather clock ticking.
Thaddeus pursed his lips. When he saw Elias there, he had an inkling this woman would come. It was why he called many guards to block whoever approached them. .
He did not expect his mother to be here, however. Wasn't she supposed to go to the snow country with his father?
