Angi stood at the entrance, gazing outside, waiting until the sky turned completely dark. The person she wanted to see never appeared, and she couldn't help but feel worried deep down.
Upon returning to the house, I saw Wendy fussing over the man. One moment, she asked if he wanted some fruit, and the next, she asked if he needed a drink. She had never shown this much concern even for her own father.
Thinking about how her Lindsey still hadn't returned, Angi felt as if something was clutching at her heart, making her incredibly uncomfortable.
Both children are his beloved ones, and he cannot do without either of them.
So she said to Wendy, who was pouring water for Giancarlo, "Stay at home and don't wander around. I'll go look for your Lindsey. She hasn't come back yet, and I don't know what's going on with her now."
Wendy nodded, not saying much more.
