A New Demon Emerges

"Does the little captain speak for the general and other captains?" DaDrak bellowed shaking the ground again as they approached the group that had their weapons out and ready for the confrontation of a lifetime.

"What are we going to do now?" Captain Shanto asked.

"We are not going to cower in fear because of the demon's size. Remember David killed Goliath the giant with just a small stone. They may look mighty but our God is mightier," the general replied.

"Do not lose hope team as that will ensure our doom. We just need a strategy to distract them so they can be separated. Once separated they can be easily destroyed, this time we give them to Michael the archangel for safekeeping," Captain Sharla advised.

Swoosh! Swoosh!

The brother's blade sliced at the space that was once occupied by the general and his elite team. The sheer wind from their wings sent them flying a few feet away to the ground.

They dusted themselves off and everyone spat blood wiping their lips except for the general and Captain Sharla.

"Are you alright? " she asked as they went to help their fallen friends.

Swoosh! Clang!

The sound of the swords swinging and connecting to the general's and Captain Sharla's swords. They looked at each other as they stood their ground trying to push back the brothers.

The other captains gathered themselves and attacked the beast trying to annihilate them.

One of the captains decided to climb the beast and took its sword and stabbed its leg. The beast used one of its wings to flick the climber off sending him hard into the trees.

Crack! The sound of broken bones as his back hit the tree trunk and then slumped to the ground. No movement came from his body.

General's eyes turned golden and he flew straight towards the giant's chest. The beast seeing his trajectory flashed their sword at him and then used their wings to swat him like a fly. He dogged them in time as a strange feeling overshadowed him.

"What is happening?" the general wondered as he froze in midflight.

He tried to move and couldn't. He watched in horror as the beast one by one froze the others in place using their swords to decapitate their heads. First, they chopped the two that were closest to Sharla, blood splashed on her face and clothes.

"No!" shouted Sharla and the general simultaneously as their eyes widened in horror.

The beast dragon seem to smile and proceeded to chop the male closest to the general. Blood splashed on the general's bubble that he was now imprisoned in.

Captain Sharla's body started shaking and vibrating. Her rage overtook her as her body began to contort. The sound of broken bones and stretched ligaments and tissues could be heard. With each stretch of her body and muscles, she screams in agony. Sharla gradually grew into a giant demon wolf with six horns on her head. Her eyes blazed like fire. The ground shook with each step she took as she was now going toe to toe with the two-headed dragon demon. Golden shield grew over her soft areas protecting her from deadly blows. The sword she held in her human form, now grew into a menacing giant blade with the words AZERSHA - FIRE RULER.

"Awake AZERSHA! YOUR MASTER CALLS YOU." Captain Sharla roared as she grew more muscles and her sword's flames fired up glowing from orange to blue to white. Her half-shaved black hair seems to be on fire as it blew in the wind.

"You will pay for what you have done to my friends," she yelled. With every word, she said she attacked the dragon twirling and kicking as their swords connected. They seem to be moving at a speed faster than the general could follow. He only saw sparks of light flashing from various locations on the ground and air.

"I never knew she was a demon too, the general said to himself. How did we not know a demon dwelled amoung us? This is not right. Surely Father White or Father Venjamin must have known about this. A new demon has emerged. "

Suddenly the scene changed as he noticed six new faces entering the field with armour and swords. Who are they he wondered?

"Mom, we are here but I can't see him," Keliana said as she looked around the battlefield her eyes then saw the general floating in a bubble. She smiled inwardly knowing her brother was still alive as he normally placed people in bubbles. She found with the new powers she gained, she noticed each day her powers increased.

"Don't worry Drako, I will save you," Keliana said as she turned her head towards the thunderous sound of swords clashing.

She blinked three times and with each blink her vision improved and she now saw what the general saw before they arrived.

"Turning to the general she asked is that Drako and Dante combined?"

"It's the Berserkers, we killed them but they soon resurrected and joined forces and became the horrid beast. Can you see them ?" he asked.

"Yes. They stopped fighting now. They seem to be talking to each other," Keliana said puzzled by the sudden stop of the blade show. They were still way in the sky. Her family saw them like little birds. While she and the general saw them as if they were right in front of them.

Battle of the Beasts

"You need to calm down. We don't want to hurt you," Dante dragon said as Drako's powers held her in position.

"You killed my friends and now you will pay with your lives, " Sharla snarled as she enunciated her words.

She fought against the invisible powers that held her in place. She still couldn't believe how she transformed. She remembered asking her dad if she was as powerful as him or if she could transform into a wolf. He only responded 'I don't know and I don't want to find out'. Was he afraid she would become more powerful or was it something else he hadn't quite told her yet?

She felt like she was spiralling and it suddenly hit her. She was a demon, not an angel. She was a child of the devil not of God. She was raised to be a warrior angel now she watched as her body reflected her true self in the dragon's eyes. How could she fight the very thing she had become?

"She is falling," Dante panicked and flew to catch Sharla who was now reducing in size as she fell faster and faster towards the earth.

"We need to separate. I can't save her like this or our hands will saw her in half," Drako said.

"Oh no, she is falling," Keliana cried and raced towards her.

Dante quickly broke the bond and separated from Drako to protect his destiny. From the moment he sensed her on the battlefield he knew she was special.

Keliana raced towards her and caught her the same time Dante and Drako reached her.

She found a grassy area and gently laid her on the ground. Her eyes were closed and her hands still gripped her sword.

"Can you do something for her? She can't die. She can't die," Dante mumbled as he knelt beside Keliana.

Erinic, Michelle, Caden, Jayden and Khalisa watched as Keliana tried to revive the girl that suddenly fell from the skies.

"Help her please!" Dante pleaded.

"Sister, can you help her? I have never seen Dante care about anyone other than us," Drako asked.

Keliana nodded to him and patted Dante's hand. "I will do what I can."
