Anbu?

"What kind of sage learns at this speed? You should be snail sage instead of iguana." Hoseki said to Buzz D.

It had been a week since Buzz D surrendered and be taught by him.

"Buzztttbizizttbuzzbuzztt." Buzz D was trying to say something but its language was still a barrier for it to reach Hoseki.

"Whatever. At least you learn the basic and understand what I say. Practice more with Draco in Pluto." Hoseki said and send it to Pluto.

At least in Pluto it can learn more from those beast and Draco.

(A/N : I didn't remember if I had said or not about this before. But just a small note here.

Draco prefer to be in Pluto more compare staying with Hoseki because he can be in real form there and not a bakugan form)

The next morning, an anbu had come to him and told Hoseki that he was summoned to Hokage office.

Reaching the hokage office, he reported himself.

"Hoseki.." Hiruzen looked towards him.

"..." Hoseki only stood in silence and waited for Hiruzen next words.

In this whole two years, Hoseki and Hiruzen relationship had been stagnant without much words. Hoseki would had been busying himself in his study and rarely interacted with Hiruzen.

All his team mission will be reported through Shikaku to hokage office. Beside his team mission, Hoseki only had done less then 5 mission by himself. Other than that, he would focus on his studies, trainings and experiments.

Seeing Hoseki didn't say anything, Hiruzen said, "Last week, you had submitted a complete prototype of your handcuff. We had been testing them and the village had agree to fund the project."

Hearing the news from Hiruzen, Hoseki silent down for a few second. Then he looked towards Hiruzen and bow down a bit and said, "My apologies hokage sama. I didn't send that prototype handcuff for asking fund from the village. Instead I am selling them. There are only 100 limited finish products including the prototype. Besides I had no intention to produce more of them for now."

"You won't produce more? Why ?" Hiruzen frowned as he heard Hoseki's words.

"....." Hoseki only bowed down in silence.

"Sigh. Hoseki, your handcuff was proved to be essential for our intelligence squad. We can get more information if we could caught other villages shinobi alive. Why would you stop produce them knowing how useful they are going to be?" Hiruzen asked.

"They are useful when they are on our hand. But much harm they are going to be when they went to our enemies' hand? Excessive number will make people less care when they lost any of them. They will only precious items in limited numbers. I won't produce them to be cabbages." Hoseki stated his intention.

Hiruzen lost his words when he heard how much the handcuffs will backfire if they went to his opponent. In truth, the elders of Konoha were too engrossed in discussion of how useful the handcuffs were when they found the handcuffs can restraint even a strong Jounin. Even Danzo also requested for the handcuffs for his intelligence squad. They never thought if the handcuffs could fall on their opponents' hand.

"So, you have thought that far. Maybe we are too greedy on their uses until we forget on the downsides of them. So be it. We will buy any available handcuffs for now."

Hiruzen didn't intend to push the subject anymore and accepted Hoseki's decision.

"Anyway, I call you not just because of the handcuffs." Hiruzen spoke again as he put a scroll on the table.

Seeing the scroll, Hoseki was confused. Usually, mission scroll was in were in white,yellow, green, brown, blue and red. Which arranged from S rank to E rank mission. Never had he heard any mission in black scroll.

"You are going to join a secret mission with an anbu squad." Hiruzen saw the confusion in Hoseki eyes, so he told Hoseki of his tasks.

"Anbu? Why did village sign me to do a mission with them when I am not one of them?" Hoseki was more confused with his situation.

"You will understand after you see the mission's content." Told Hiruzen.

Hoseki picked up the scroll and opened to read its contents.

Recently, an intelligent was needed from his uncle's old informer. The informer refused and cooperate after Sakumo's death and only person from Hatake lineage can retrieve the intel. So between Kakashi and him, Hiruzen had selected him after hearing Shikaku's suggestion.

"Then how will he know if I am from Hatake lineage?" Hoseki asked.

"We don't know. He only told us to bring one of you to retrieve it." Hiruzen said as he sat down on his chair.

"That damn team leader.. He hate trouble but always send me into it. Haizz." Hoseki frustrated as he walked to rendezvous point for his mission.

As he arrives, three anbu had been waiting for him and brief him the mission and routes that they were going to go.

Hearing that they were going to retrieve in in Land of Earth, Hoseki understood why this intel was important as the Iwa was in very hostile relationship with Konoha.

While Konoha was pressured by all side, they were not as bad Iwagakure. Small skirmishes were always happening in between Konoha and Iwagakure border as the two years passed. Konoha had been sending more shinobi to the garrison as time goes by. It was estimate that it won't be long before all out war would happened.

Infiltrating into the enemy's territory was a dangerous job. No wonder anbu squad was sent for the job. Ironically, while all the anbu had the CT, they still asked Hoseki if he had any extra for sale.

Of course, Hoseki didn't let chance to make fortunes went pass him.
