Chapter 4: Questioning

"Were you chasing after Mora?" I asked while I clenched my knees together.

"Yes." Angelo replied was immediately.

Were they dating? Did Mora did something to upset him to the point he wanted to kill her?

"Were two dating?"

"No."

That's a shock, but not eternally. Angelo doesn't seem like the type to date someone so bratty like Mora.

"Then why were you trying to kill her?"

"She saw me kill my ex."

Angelo is dating someone? Well, I guess should say "was" dating someone.

"Your ex? What did she do?"

"She dating Mora behind my back."

I almost choke when he said that. I couldn't tell what I should be at surprised first. That Angelo was cheated on or the fact Mora was a lesbian.

"Was that also a reason why you wanted to kill Mora?"

"Yes." Angelo spoke bluntly, while a visible vain appeared on his forehead.

I don't know what to feel in this situation. A part of me wanted to call the cops because Angelo

killed someone. But than there's another part of me almost want to support Angelo, after all he got cheated on from the most lowest creature known to man kind.

What should I do? Should I do something? Or should I keep my mouth shut? I don't know anymore!

"Sage." Angelo called me.

I looked at Angelo dead in the eye and made the worse decision I made in my entire life.

I sighed as I stood up from my seat. "Come on, let's eat somewhere else. This place doesn't have the right atmosphere for a conversation like this."

"Are you sure? I'm willing to pay--" before Angelo could continue I cut him off.

"Money is not the issue here! The issue is your emotional well being." I grabbed Angelo's arm and dragged him outside of the fancy restaurant.

I really wanted to eat there, but now isn't the time for that. I held onto Angelo's hand tightly as we walked into a shelter japanese eatery. I placed him on a seat and sat next to him.

"Okay, now let's talk." I said, while I stare at Angelo confused face.

"Talk about what?" Angelo asked.

"About you and your ex. What was her name?"

"Uh... her name was Charlotte."

"How long were you two dating?"

"At least two years, today was our anniversary."

"Okay! Final question, you must be honest with me this one. Understand?"

"Yes?"

"Did you loved Charlotte?"
