True Teammates

The announcer outlined the rules, explaining that the tournament was divided into points depending on the amount of damage inflicted. The more damage you dealt, the more points you earned. There were four tiers: green with zero points, yellow with one hundred, red with one thousand, and black with one hundred thousand.

We jumped through the tubes.

From Grim's perspective, I ended up with a scrawny kid. The kid spoke nervously, "Um, are you Grim?"

"Yeah, I'm him," I replied. "My mother said if I go with you, I'll be safe. Who is your mother, bro?"

"My name is Heart, and my mother's name is Robin," he answered.

My face turned serious. Knowing what would happen to me if I let Heart get hurt, I created a protective force field around us. "Stay with me."

Now, back to my perspective:

I found myself in an unfamiliar place, and it was strangely exhilarating. Drake, who was beside me, seemed to be having a blast. "This is so much fun!"

I couldn't contain my excitement, but Drake snapped me out of it. "Shut up, you idiot! We've got a tournament to win!"

"Right!" I shouted, and without thinking, I went after him, attempting to land a punch. Luckily, friendly fire didn't seem to work here.

Now, shifting to Shin's perspective:

I observed someone in distress and decided to intervene. "Someone save me!" the guy cried out.

Using my wind powers, I swiftly moved to rescue him. Once I reached him, I introduced myself. "My name is Shin. What's yours?"

"Thanks, my name is Pride," he replied. "I'm Heart's brother and Robin's son."

I immediately felt a sense of unease. "You're one of the Danger Twins?"

It was common knowledge that Heart and Pride were twins with destructive powers, each having a split personality called Demon and Bones. Nobody wanted to mess with them due to their brutal nature.

Returning to Shin's perspective:

I realized that I might have gotten myself into something more complicated than I had anticipated. To be safe, I used my wind powers to create a protective barrier around Pride, preventing him from being triggered. It looked like these next three days were going to be quite a challenge.
