The Test Of Wills

Knight floated off the ground, his gaze fixed upon the corrupted creations before him. It was a daunting sight, and he knew he couldn't confront this challenge alone. Just when despair threatened to take hold, the system popped up.

"Would you like to become a god?" the system inquired.

Knight yelled out, "Hey, Kronos! You said you didn't want me to become a god, right?" Laughter bubbled up as Kronos's face flushed with embarrassment.

Kronos stammered, "What's so funny?"

Knight tapped the floating screen, determination gleaming in his eyes. "Yes," he replied.

With a blinding glow, Knight's helmet began to transform, attempting to harness the overwhelming power. But the helmet shattered, revealing Knight's face underneath. Swiftly, Ichimaru used his magic to conceal Knight's visage, leaving only a wisp of smoke where half the helmet once stood.

"Let's get started," Knight declared. "But just as I was about to take action, my generals stepped forward, one by one."

Menma reassured, "Master, leave it to me."

Toka added, "No one will stand in my way."

Tende pledged, "I'll demolish them."

Ichimaru declared, "You'll pay for harming him."

They assembled, ready to face the battle. In an instant, they all disappeared, leaving only Knight and Kronos.

Kronos grinned arrogantly. "You're getting cocky."

Opening a portal, he added, "But you've forgotten there's one more player in this game."

From the portal emerged another figure, a transformed Knight, now a higher god. Only a select few could attain such a status—Nyx, Buddha, and Seth, also known as Typhon.

The gods above gasped upon hearing that name. Cut to Lycone, who ventured to the arena to assess the situation. Someone descended swiftly towards him, and there, standing before him, was the God of Blood.

In the next chapter, Lycone would face off against the Blood God, different versions of himself clashing in a battle of epic proportions. The question lingered: could Lycone overcome his own bloodthirsty alter ego?
