Past Relations and New Companions

"Keiko, Keiko, wake up!" I jolted awake, bewildered by the sudden disturbance. Before me stood a shadowy figure with piercing red eyes. The appearance somewhat resembled my brother. It all made sense now. "Where are you, brother? I know you're there! Stop playing around, Yuki!" I called out, searching for him.

Yuki, my little brother, finally appeared, but his excitement seemed to have faded. "Fine," he sighed. He proceeded to explain that he needed my help in taking over the goblin camp. He wanted an ally nearby for his magic domain. Oh, and for the audience's sake (yes, breaking the fourth wall here), a magic domain is a whole new world created by powerful magic and chi users.

Yuki interrupted, questioning my seemingly one-sided conversation. "Who the hell are you talking to? No one's there." I brushed off his remark, stating that it didn't matter. I agreed to help him but made it clear that our father shouldn't know I'm alive. I wanted to maintain my peaceful life.

Yuki agreed and then inquired about the strange helmet I was wearing. I explained that I couldn't remove it. With that settled, I prepared to leave.

"You're not coming, Yuki," I declared.

"No, I have my own plans to attend to. Have a nice trip, though," he replied.

I set off for the village, but upon entering the goblin territory, they immediately launched an attack. Defending myself, I fought back and soon realized I was leveling up. With the goblin threat neutralized, I proceeded with my mission.

Now that the area was secure, I began to create my magic domain. The forest trembled, and a magical barrier formed. New plants sprouted, and materials appeared out of thin air. Those goblins who remained were terrified, fearing their demise. I assured them that I had only acted in self-defense. Surprisingly, I even managed to revive the fallen goblins. Retaining my level seemed to be due to my divine heritage.

The goblins hailed me as their king, but the chief showed no interest whatsoever. Afterward, each goblin evolved into peculiar creatures. An achievement notification popped up, stating the creation of a new creature, the Kosen Goblin. The system explained that these were the warrior counterparts of the demonic goblins. Another achievement followed, introducing the Goblin Gami, a formidable breed capable of granting wishes based on their leader's strength. I was left in complete awe, exclaiming, "WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAT!"
