Outmatch

"Ahhh! Ten percent of my power has been released. What will you do, Knight? You're gonna die here," Adriane taunts, laughing manically. Knight's forehead breaks into a sweat as he realizes the dire situation. "Shoot, what am I gonna do?" he mutters to himself.

Just in the nick of time, Jinsei wakes up from his slumber. Knight urgently calls out to him, "Jinsei, get up!" Jinsei quickly gets to his feet and teleports next to Knight, before teleporting away again. Knight ponders their next move and explains, "Now, I have to go back in there, but as I was muttering to myself, a window pops up."

Intrigued by the sudden appearance of the window, Knight reads the message: "Would you like to fuse with your companion, Jinsei? Do you want to?" Knight starts walking away, leaving Jinsei puzzled. "What are you doing?" Jinsei asks.

Knight pauses and then explains, "I would rather die than fuse with you, hero." Jinsei's expression softens as he realizes the gravity of the situation. "Knight, I'm sorry. I know who you are. I'm sorry I killed you. Now, can we fuse and beat this thing?"

Both Knight and Jinsei select "yes" on the window prompt, and a massive aura envelops them. The fusion of their powers begins, merging their strengths and abilities in a dazzling display.
