Darkness Decent

Two weeks had passed, and the time for the tournament had finally arrived. In the arena, the first fighters were ready for their battles. Leon and Grim, meanwhile, were preparing themselves.

"Leon, we're gonna be late!" Leon urged Grim with a hint of annoyance.

"Hold up, I'm almost ready," Grim responded.

"Done," Leon said. "We're gonna have to use the teleport, okay?"

Leon and Grim activated the teleportation, and in an instant, they arrived at the arena. What they witnessed sent shivers down their spines – a horrifying scene of destruction. Heart was being relentlessly smashed into the ground, constantly stomped upon.

Leon couldn't believe his eyes. "What the hell is happening?"

The narrative then shifted to a flashback, back to when the match had just begun.

"Leonardo, I'm gonna hurt you bad, please don't," Heart had pleaded with fear.

The announcer's voice boomed, "Three, two, one, fight!" The crowd erupted into screams and cheers.

Leonardo appeared right in front of Heart and landed a point-blank punch to his face. Heart staggered to his feet, his hair floating upwards, eyes turning red and glowing menacingly.

"You shouldn't do that when a guy's not ready," Heart warned, his voice shifting into a darker tone. He was transforming into his alter ego, Demon.

Leonardo scoffed, "Shut up."

Demon replied calmly, "I don't even need ten percent of my power."

Demon's red eyes dimmed down to just his pupils, which continued to glow. Leonardo, now irritated, muttered, "You're underestimating me." He appeared in front of Demon and threw a punch, but Demon didn't budge. In return, Demon landed a devastating punch on Leonardo, sending him flying through the wall.

Leonardo picked himself up, chuckling, but then he suddenly felt an excruciating pain coursing through his entire body. He yelled out, "What happened?"

Demon explained, "It's called pain. Never felt it before?"

Demon began to approach Leonardo menacingly. Just then, a massive pair of glowing eyes appeared in front of Demon, their pupils vanishing. They were lying on the ground, vulnerable.

Leon and Grim arrived on the scene, witnessing the horrific turn of events.
