A Turn Of Events

Haruki's Perspective:

I sat there, my body immobilized by Rio's command. His words cut through the air, "Sorry," he muttered apologetically, then began a countdown, "Three, two, one," and with a swift motion, my head was severed from my body.

Everyone Else's Perspective:

Laughter echoed through the battlefield as Rio's headless body lay on the ground, blood gushing from his neck. The shock of his apparent demise had left us vulnerable, but our respite was short-lived.

A triumphant voice pierced the chaos, "Hahahah, you idiots! You really thought I died? I was using the Clock of Time skill. I was waiting until the clock adapted to your God of Wishes form."

Blood continued to flow from Rio's lifeless form as he lay there, victorious in his ruse.

Suddenly, Isagi appeared on the scene, striking everyone engaged in combat against Haruki. The old man, amused by the spectacle, watched as Knight unleashed another energy beam, while Lycone conjured a powerful mana bomb. The devastation left everyone but Chidori and Amy incapacitated.

Ichimaru's Trick Room was the only thing preventing our imminent demise, and Chidori and Amy stood ready to face the trio of protectors: the King of God, the God of Lightning, and the Magic Queen. It was a showdown between these formidable beings and the Aura God.
