Chapter 1

Aoyama's POV

It was class time, I was staring at the board with my usual 'V' smile, but I was not paying attention, I had drifted off and was thinking about recent events with the license exam, My navel lazer helpt most of my class win, standing out helped...for once I thought, a small sigh coming from me, I was used to being avoided, even when standing out, I was actually happy to have helped my class. It hit lunch time and most of my class headed to lunch quickly, except Iida and me.

Iida- "Hello, Aoyama."

Aoyama- "Bonjour, Iida!"

Iida- "Perhaps would you like to eat lunch with me?"

I was quite surprised, normally I would eat in the class room but even so Iida still invited me to lunch, perhaps if I want to make more friends I should take this offer, I stand up and grab my own lunch

Aoyama- "Sure, but I will bring my own lunch, Si ça va."

Iida- "That's alright!"

Iida and I walk to the lunch room, we head over to where the dekusquad is

Deku- "Hello Iida! And oh- hey Aoyama!"

Aoyama- "Bonjour!🌟"

I do my 'V' smile and do my usual sparkly pose as I said that, I then sit down, we talk, eat, and have a wonderful time, I feel quite happy hanging out with them, especially Iida, for some reason how he talks and the way he is is just so calming to me, we finish lunch and head back to class, I thank Iida for inviting me for lunch and ask if I can have lunch with him and the dekusquad tomorrow, he laughs and says of course.

Iida's POV

Earlier today I had asked Aoyama to lunch because he had seemed a bit lonely, especially since the license exam, we had a good time and honestly I felt even more happy with Aoyama there, his sparkly personality just made the lunch amazing, after lunch he had asked me if he could eat with us again tomorrow, I felt so happy as I laughed and said of course, I felt even more happy that he wanted to join us again, I instructed everyone to sit down and get ready for class, then sitting down. The rest of the day went past faster than expected, I start to head back to my dorm when I see Aoyama, he seemed a bit upset as he walked to the door to his dorm, so I decided to spark up a conversation.

Aoyama's POV

Class was finally over, I was ready to finally take a break from acting happy with my fake as ever smile, Im honestly surprised that people don't question it, but I guess they just suppose I'm pretty happy all the time, my smile fades away as I go to open the door to my dorm when Iida walks up to me, I turn around making my 'V' smile.

Aoyama- "Bonjour, Iida!"

Iida- "Hello, Aoyama..." He pauses for a second "Is everything okay? You seemed a bit sad."

Aoyama- "Oh, It's nothing, dont worry about moi!" I started to sweat a tad bit

Iida- "Are you sure? Well if you ever need to talk to anybody I'll always listen!" He says with a weak smile before waving goodbye and heading to his dorm, I sigh when he leaves and walk in, I shut the door, instantly flopping on the bed and covering my face with my pillow, even though Iida seemed to care about me it was probably out of pity, I was almost always alone anyways...he would never care...no, Im just a weak coward with a defective quirk, like everyone at my old school told me... I started to cry as thoughts consumed me, I didn't even notice it but i fell asleep, I slept for around an hour before it was almost time for school, I looked messy but I used make up to hide my lack of sleep and my tear stains, and got ready, before trying my best to have my 'V' smile but I could barely do it for a minute, perhaps it is best if I just say Im a tad bit more tired to smile...it will be a half truth anyways-
