She ran through the lushes and it came passing by like thin air, something was after her life but she just couldn't see it through, all she knew was it had horns. She ran as fast as she could until she stumbled on a rock and fell down, thinking her life would end now, she pleaded for help, until…
"My lady!! My lady!! Wake up!!" a young girl's voice was heard around the room.
Melanie who was laying like a baby on the bed sluggishly opened her eyes, using the back of her palm to rub her eyes, she looked at Tiana.
*Melanie's pov*
"Am I not allowed to sleep for a second again?" I asked in a high but pleading tone. Tiana is my maid and also a friend.
"I guess you don't remember that today is your wedding with Alpha Nican!!" I looked at Tiana with my eyes wide open, how could I forget such a special day in my life, the day I had waited for.
"Why didn't you wake me up on time!!" I yelled, came down from the bed and headed to my dressing room.
With the help of Tiana, I took a quick shower and sat down on the dressing table. I was wearing a long gold gown with bare shoulders and long sleeves, tight from my shoulders to stomach and loose at the bottom.
I held hands with Tiana and walked downstairs.
"Am I looking beautiful?" I asked Tiana
"You are beautiful always, I think you are just nervous" she answered and she was right. I had butterflies in my stomach, and knot ties in my stomach too.
"I'm so happy that you are getting married to alpha Nican, but I'm also sad that I won't get to see you again after you leave here" Tiana said, I find myself laughing, did she really think I would leave her here?
"Stop thinking about that Tiana, you are coming with me" I said to her and she smiled. I didn't know when I stepped on my dress, almost falling, but a strong arm came around my waist as my aid from ruining myself at my wedding.
"Thank you" I quickly said, I raised my head to look at my savior and to my surprise it was
"Alpha Nican!!" I bowed in respect
"You should watch your step next time, I don't think I would be there to save you again!" He said. I looked at his shining hazel green eyes, it was really captivating.
"My lady!!" Tiana whispered my name, and I nodded at Alpha Nican, and watched as he left.
"I know he was so beautiful to take your eyes off but…"
"I just can't help it, don't blame me" I interrupted her and we headed to the main gate.
A guard was standing at the gate and with the way he was dressed, nobody needed to tell me that he was the commentator. I nodded at him to announce my arrival, but he didn't.
"You can't enter inside without me!!" I turned to the direction of the familiar voice and it was father.
"You look beautiful!" He complimented immediately he got to me, making me smile.
"Thanks for everything father" I said, and he placed his hands on my check
"I would do anything for you, as long as it is within my reach," he assured me, and I smiled again.
"Melanie, the daughter of general Mark, an Omega, and the bride, arrives!!!" The commentator announce, and I walked in with father
Actually, I'm Melanie the daughter of a beta and also the werewolf general, it shouldn't be surprising to you when they called me an Omega, because I am. Father had never allowed me to mingle with others because I would be bullied and somehow I'm getting married to the strongest being of our pack.
Getting to the main arena, I sat down at the chair designed for the couples.
"Nican, son of the head of the mecreesh pack, an alpha and also our ruler, arrives!!!"
Alpha Nican walked with high extreme into the arena, and sat beside me. Somehow I found him looking at me, I felt shy and nervous, my hands were trembling and I felt uncomfortable.
"Melanie!" He called and I looked at him
"I didn't believe that an alpha like me would some day get married to an Omega"
"The moon goddess wasn't fair to me, father said it's my cross so I have to carry it" I tried to act brave but I was trembling.
"That's true and there are more cross you would have to carry" he said, I found his words hurting but I was unable to understand
"I'm Nican, the ruthless alpha, you must have heard that I don't associate with girls, I grew up without any parents, just my uncle, why did you agree to marry me?" He asked.
"If only you know how long I have been waiting for this day, you won't be asking this!" I mumbled
"What did you say!!?" He asked
"Today is the happiest day of our pack, the moon goddess had shown our alpha his mate and here they are now, we would pay our respect to him and his Luna" the commentator said again.
All werewolves stood up and transformed to their werewolf form, they howled loudly, it was a sign of respect. This was something I cannot do.
"Alpha Nican and his bride should step forward please!!"
"It is Time to tie the knot!!"
I was asked to say something as a vow and tie and knot which I did happily, I said those words with joy. It was time for Nican to say his vow, but instead he went to the crowd.
"Do you think I would really get married to an Omega!!!" He said, I was confused at first as I waited for what he was going to say next
"I Nican, an alpha and the
ruler of mecreesh pack rejects you Melanie and Omega as my mate and Luna!!!"
