Ch-43

Isabel got put of her office and greeted the security guard who was patrolling in the halls.It was really late at night and most of the lights were off.

Isabel had stayed late until this hour working and decided to end it for today and head home.She used the lift to go to the parking slot.

She slowly walked put of the lift while checking her phone and noticed something strange.

The lights on the parking slot were mostly off and everything was barely visible.

She carefully walked and tried to remind herself where she had parked her car.Suddenly she felt like she was being watched.

Isabel cautiously turned her head and looked around herself.The place was completely silent and no one could be seen.

Isabel looked around more and when she finally found her car.She fastened her pace and headed towards it.Footsteps.

Isabel immediately sprinted and tried to open her door,but was quickly caught by the people behind.

Those people grabbed her hands and put them behind.One tried to cover her mouth,but Isabel bit him and screamed in hopes of a passerby hearing it,but the person behind tightened their grip and signaled to another direction.

One of the parked vans drove towards them and those two people got the struggling Isabel inside it.

During the drive Isabel kept struggling and struggling.One of the men put a napkin on her nostrils.Isabel still struggled,but eventually her struggles stopped,until there was no respond.

"Miss Isabel,miss Isabel!" a familiar voice kept calling her softly and soon Isabel saw the unpleasant face of Mr.Perez.

She was tied on a chair,her hands behind and her mouth taped.Isabel glared at him while making unclear,muffled sounds.

"Tsk,tsk,tsk even in this state you are still as fierce as ever.But don't worry,it will soon change.We have plenty of time."

Perez took one of her hair strands and brushed it back.Isabel kept shaking her head,avoiding his touch,while looking at him with disgust.

"Don't look at me like that Miss Isabel,after all it were your actions that brought you here.If you had just been a good little girl and done what we said then your life wouldn't be here in danger."

Isabel kept muffling while moving her head.

"Oh,you wanna say something to me?You want me to remove that thing on your mouth?"

She nodded.

"Fine then.Here you go." Perez ruthlessly took of the tape while using all his strength.

Isabel mouth almost went numb from the pain and she kept moving her jaw,hoping that like that it could slightly stop.

"Oh dear,did it hurt.I'm sorry,I always find it hard to be gentle."but his face showed no guilt,only a crazed satisfaction and joy.

"Even if you bring me here,that won't change the fact that James won't ever be CEO of WAZ!EVER!" Isabel bluntly said the truth."You cowards can't work hard for yourselves and always look for an easy way!You can't do anything about your incompetence and ruin other peoples lives!You pile of scum,have you ever looked at yourselves before coming and threatening other people like this!Do you think you owe the world or something?You're just nothing!Nothing!"

A slap came to her face.Isabels face turned to the other side and her face was shocked.He hit her?He actually hit her?No one had ever dared to hit her in her life!But this trash!This trash!Actually dared to hit her?!

"This ***** is so noisy!No wonder you ran around looking for other women,James!"

James slowly approached them.The whole time he had been watching on the sidelines.He had long gave up on hiding his true face from Isabel and even dared to openly declare himself as her enemy.

James soon was infront,looking down on her with fake concern.

"Oh,my dear Isabel!Look at yourself!What in a sorry state you are!"

Isabel just fiercly glared at him,one of her cheeks carried an obvious red mark.James didn't mind and got closer caressing her red mark gently at first and then suddenly her gripped her jaw with a huge amount of strength.

It was painful,but Isabel didn't flinch,she just looked at him with hatered.

"You really have a way with ruining my life,haven't you Isabel!You couldn't just play the role of a good wife who stays at home and supports her husband,but you had to meddle yourself in my business."

"Didn't you like it when I meddled with your business?After all,how else could you keep that position of yours for so long being so useless and crass as you are." Isabel smiled with ridicule

James glared at her and strengthened his grip,then Isabel spit on his face.James used the other hand to wipe the drops of spit off his face.He was shaking from the anger and humiliation.

"You-"

"What?Am I lying?If it were for you WAZ wouldn't even exist and you dare to call it you blood,sweat and tears!Being as pathetic as you are you then go and ride on other peoples coatatils and try to take whats their for yourself.Isn't that what you have done with me for years,you and your mistress?"

"You were the one who did it,didn't you?You were the one who told the paparazzi to follow us and post those pictures,you did it all!"

"I didn't do anything James!It was you who did it!You were the one who went after other married women,you were the one who cheated!"

"You ruined everything!"

"You ruined everything!You were the one who tried exploiting me for so many years and having the audacity to say that I ruined your life when it were your actions from the start?You're really something else!Of course,running after something that doesn't belong to you,has conseqences James!What did you expect!For all to be handed to you with a silver platter!What else are you going to do now,kill me off?"

James looked at her smiling,Isabels face dropped and soon a horrified expression was on her face.

"You...You..."

"Yes,yes I did.I tried,but a lucky ***** like you escaped with no harm and instead that ******** was in your place and got into the accident instead of you.He might've as well died too,at least there would be one thorn less in my eyes."

"You actually dare to take somebody's life?!You really are trash!No,you're a demon!"

"So what if I want to kill you?I hate you with every cell in my body!What's wrong with killing a person that I hate?"

"What did I ever do to you?"

"Your presence enough gives me a reason to kill you!The fact that you're still breathing gives me a reason to kill you!"

"No matter how much you wanted to kill me,you still are a pathetic person that has no actual power and capability to do that!What?Did Mr.Perez help you like today?Is the reason you people are so close because you do shady things together?"

"Me and Mr.Perez are partners are partners who trust eachother.Our partnership brought WAZ and Perez group together,but you had to ruin it,by intervening and convincing the board of directors to kick me out and put you in charge,all to spite me!But don't worry you'll be giving me everything back,one by one,with your own hands,Isabel!"

"So you do accept that you and Mr.Perez are behind all of this?" Isabel then had a moment of realisation "Wait...That arrest...the illegal substances...it wasn't the driver,it was you again wasn't it?"

"It's much more Isabel,much more!" James smiled evilly at her "More than this small pretty head of your can think.Me and Mr.Perez have been working together for years now and won't let it all be ruined just because you wanted to prove yourself to me!Now" James gestured behind and brought a few documents "You will hand over the company to me."

Isabel sarcastically laughed. "Hah,in your dreams! "

James grabbed her jaw again "You will sign these now or you either won't get out without a scar or without losing your life!" His cold,ruthless eyes weren't lying.

"You're threatening me again?"

"Yes,I am."

"So you tried to kill be back in 'I' country by covering as an accident,but Gael was the one that was harmed.You and Mr.Perez have been doing shady,illegal business together for years and you blames the driver for the illegal substances case when you were fully aware of what those trucks were sending."

James found it strange but still answered.

"Yes,all you said is true."

Isabel looked at him smiling smugly.

"Thanks for admiting to all of that James."

Mr.Perez and James were confused and a bad feeling rose in their hearts.

Outside a voice yelling loudly was heard.

"Mr.Perez,Mr.Brown,put your hands up in the air and surrender,you are under arrest for attempted kidnapping against Miss Ricci."

"****!" both Mr.Perez and James cursed at the same time.Mr.Perez yelled at the people around.

"Everybody get your guns out and prepare for a fight!"

But the people instead of listening pointed their weapons at the both of them.One of the people headed towards Isabel direction and untied her hands.

"Miss Isabel,are you okay?"

"I am completely fine,but our two dear friends here obviously are not." Isabel looked at them with satisfaction.

"How-how did you?B-but they-How?" Mr.Perez was terrefied.His people had been replaced and he had no idea when and how,but the most terrefied was James.The woman who had just stood up and was rubbing her wrists was equal to the devil rigjt now in his eyes.

"How?Tsk,tsk,tsk I never show my secrets!"Isabel made a 'shhh' gesture.

None of the men could understand how it happened.Everything was hazy to them.Soon they found themselves on handcuffs being dragged on by the policeman to the police car.

It was over.This time it was really over.
