Change on the Horizon

Six Months Later

Thomas did not know when it happened but he realized that friendship and going through the grief process together had changed what he was now feeling for Hannah. However, questions swirled through his mind. He felt a little guilty for moving on with life and caring again when two years ago he lost his entire world. As these thoughts raced through his mind, Ryan observed his son.

“When are you going to tell her how you feel?” Ryan said passing Thomas the bowl of vegetables.

“Dad, what are you talking about?” Thomas asked confused by the question.

“Thomas, we have met Hannah. You two are always together. She is wonderful and we are happy you found her,” Ryan explained.

“So, when are you going to tell her?” Grace chimed in.

Thomas looked at both his parents and sighed. He was not ready to have this conversation.

“When you do we are here to support you and hear the good news,” Grace smiled hugging him.
