Irina's departure, Goddess, and Timeskip!

Weeks later, Okashi and Issei walked home from the playground with sad expressions. They just learned that Irina would be leaving Japan and going to England soon, and it was hitting them hard, especially Okashi. Okashi's bond with Irina increased a lot after the sleepover, and right when he realized she likes him, she has to move away. He knew that he would see her later, but seeing her again 10 years from now would be painful. As the heart broken brothers walk into their house, their father asks them, "Hey kids, why do you look so depressed?" Issei explained the situation with Irina in a somber tone, suprising and saddening the Hyoudou parents. Irina was a great friend for the boys, with her tomboy personality being able to keep up with Issei and her nice and kind nature allowing Okashi to open up more. The Hyoudou parents themselves liked how good of a person she was, and would dearly miss her, but right now, they had to cheer up two sad little boys. After reassuring the boys that everything would be all right, Miki and Gorou pampered their children for the rest of the day.

By time the boys were in bed, Issei was already sleeping without a care in the world while Okashi's bad mood, though improved a good amount, did not completely disappear. While he didn't completely love Irina yet, he did have romantic feelings for her after a while, and her suddenly leaving hurt a bit. Before falling asleep, Okashi thought, "While I understand that Irina is going on this trip to become stronger, I'm really going to miss hanging out with her. I guess I'll say goodbye to her when she leaves." Okashi then closed his eyes, where he would meet a familiar person in his dreams.

Opening his eyes, Okashi noticed that he was back in the black space where he met the goddess in her Aqua form. Looking down, he realized he was back in his previous body. He looked behind him and saw that the goddess was currently mischievously smiling at him. Seeing her, Okashi quickly bowed and said, "Goddess! I'm so sorry that I didn't come here sooner, I didn't know how to get here!" The boy felt guilty that the woman he promised to visit was left alone by him for 5 years. Seeing Okashi's reaction made the goddess let out a small chuckle as she said, "Geez, you sure did take your time didn't you? Anyway, just call me Apex, calling me goddess all the time must be pretty annoying." Okashi, realizing that his bow was a little over the top, stood up with a small blush, clearing his throat before asking, "So how and why did I get here Apex?"

Apex explained, "You were brought here because you needed guidance. You see, the reason you didn't come here previously was because your goal was clear, become a better person to prove to yourself you are unique. Now that the girl you like is going to leave you, your in emotional distress due to a certain serial man killer you love hurting you in the past, and you don't know what you should do at the moment. You were brought here so that I can help you reevaluate your goals. Now tell me Okashi, why do you want to improve? What is your motivation besides proving something to yourself?" Okashi was confused, he didn't really understand what Apex meant as another goal. As he started thinking, he realized that his reason for being a better person was pretty selfish. He only wanted to be stronger so that he could live a good life and be more unique, not considering his family and loved ones. Realizing now what he really wanted his goal to be, Okashi confidentiality told Apex, "I want to be a better person, not just for myself, but for my loved ones, in my past life and this one. I want to be strongh enough to protect Issei, my parents, and Irina! I want to be their hero!"

Apex, seeing the determination of the young boy, sadly smiled and thought, "This boy is so naive in the ways of the world. He doesn't hold a grudge on me because of what Soya did, and he has never truly experienced hate towards another person, even after what Soya did to him. Okashi, I hope you never get into a situation where you have to give up your innocence. Heh, it's funny, he reminds me of you a little bit, brother." As Apex was thinking about her past, Okashi, noticing that she looked sad, wrapped his arms around her and gave her a hug.

Apex, suprised by Okashi's act of affection, asked, "Okashi, why are you hugging me?" "Apex, while I haven't been able to interact with you very often, you are very important to me. You gave me a new life after I died, a chance to be the person I could never be in my previous world. I noticed you were sad so I wanted to remind you, you've given me, and many, many other people a new chance to achieve their dreams. And while I don't know the burdens that you've had to carry for so long, if you allow me, I'll share them with you," Okashi said in a comforting tone. His words were true, she really was a important part of his life, but he didn't know how to get to this realm on this own, so while he was here, he wanted to help her feel less alone.

Feeling the warmth of Okashi's embrace was quite nice for Apex, but after a while, she decided to tease him. "Wow Okashi, I never knew that you were such a pervert to take advantage of a hug," she said teasingly. Okashi, wondering what she meant, looked down and realized that Apex's boobs were squishing against his chest! Before he woke up, Okashi promised Apex that he would meet her every night when he goes to sleep. After saying goodbye, Okashi woke up.

For the next few days, Okashi would spend the day with Irina as much as possible, and spend the night talking with Apex. Finally, on the day that Irina would be going to England, the Hyoudou's and the Shidou's were saying goodbye to each other at the airport. When it was finally time for Okashi to say goodbye to Irina, the little girl quickly threw her arms around Okashi and sobbed into his shoulder. While Okashi was depressed about Irina's trip, it was even harder for the small girl, as she truly came to love Okashi over time. As Irina cried her heart out into the boy's shirt, Okashi rubbed her back while whispering, "It's ok Irina, I promise that we'll see each other again." The tomboy looked up at Okashi's face and with eyes full of tears as she asked, "Promise?" Giving her his signature smirk, Okashi said, "I promise." Getting his confirmation, Irina boldly kissed Okashi on the cheek before running to her parents to get on the plane. As Okashi watched her leave, he rubbed his cheek which Irina kissed him in shock before letting out a happy grin and returning to his family.

After that day, many years passed, Okashi becoming 15 and changing greatly. He now had the signature Kazuma hairstyle which was a little wilder than usual. He now had a face that couldn't be called handsome, but was at least above average, with bright green eyes. He had worked out every day, to the point that his body was full of small but powerful muscles. His 'spear' length was also pretty good, around 7 inches. After training for ten years, he had mana equivalent to a Low Ultimate Class Devil, while his magical control was at High Class Devil half way to Ultimate Class. He had already completely mastered Kazuma's magic, and his favorite magic to use was [Explosion] and [Steal]. He also had learned how to conceal his magic energy so that supernatural beings wouldn't track him.

He was now a 2nd year student at Kuoh academy, and was given the title, 'The Musical Genius of Kuoh Academy' due to him being a amazing with a couple of instruments, as well as having a great singing voice. This was caused by him getting music as a hobby after Irina left to fill up some free time. He would also record music videos of himself singing songs from his world and post them on the internet for money. Okashi's top song was Sugar Song to Bitter Step.

Currently, Okashi was laying in his bed shirtless with green boxers on. As he was sleeping, he heard a ping sound that woke him up. Tiredly opening his eyes, Okashi was suprised to find a game window in front of him that said, [Welcome to the Game, Player 'Okashi Hyoudou'. Would you like the tutorial?]

Seeing the notification, Okashi smirked, "Today's gonna be interesting."
