4 : 1st Day

To say that the Sitri's territory is beautiful maybe an understatement. When he and Serafall arrived at the main mansion, every single corner is filled with flowers, exotic plantation, trees, it is a breathtaking sight.

' I would think that this is heaven for a second. ' Jinwoo thought.

But the most surprising of it all.

" Haha a mansion you said, this is more like a palace. " 

Victorian style, surrounded by vast and beautiful garden of flowers. That's just one of a few things to describe how breathtaking Sitri's mansion are.

" Well, we are one of the most influential family in the underworld after all. " Serafall stated with a cheeky smile.

After they take a walk in, instantly dozens of maids is coming over with a nimble steps and then lining up to greet their master. 

"" Welcome back, Serafall-sama! ""

Jinwoo who saw that laughed dryly. 

" This is some fantasy thing i never thought i would see. "

" Now as i said in the transmission, we had a guest today. All of you prepare the best room and clothes for him, he will be staying for a few days. "

"" Yes, Serafall-sama ""

Serafall then turned her head and smiled to Jinwoo.

" Now, i gotta go for a while. Until then, enjoy your time here, Jin-tan."

After she said that, Serafall waving her hand is suddenly disappeared from her place in a blink. Leaving Jinwoo alone with those maids.

"" Let us guide you to your room, Jinwoo-sama. ""

After he got to his room, initially all the maids is offering him help to wash his body. But as a married man, a father with dignity he refused that. He ain't going to let some random woman touch his body.

After take a shower and put on the clothes he got from the maids, Jinwoo is taking a look at the mirror. He is wearing a simple black shirt and black trouser as he was personally make a request. He is not wearing all that victorian attire. 

Even considering that his age is already over a hundred years old, he looks just like when he was on his twenty. His chiseling and firm muscles can be seen through his shirt, standing at 190 cm with hunter eyes. Immortality is sometimes is quite nice.

He then looking at his left hand.

' Since the scar on his hand is disappeared, there is no need to wear a glove anymore. But this tattoo... What's his intention in giving me this? ' Jinwoo felt silence for a moment.

He then take a look at the mirror for the last time before realized that there is something missing. Something that always there in his finger. 

*zzzttt*

With a flash, a black tungsten ring is appeared on the palm of his hand. A smile is appeared on Jinwoo's face as he looking at the name of his wife that engraved in its inside, it's bittersweet. He staring at it for a moment before he put it in his finger.

" Watch me, dear. " 

After that, Jinwoo decided to take a walk on the mansion. He realized that despite its victorian aesthetics, the mansion is quite modern. Maybe it's influenced by the human technology, no it definitely is. 

' Serafall is not here. But i've sensed some of familiar presence, maybe her family? ' Jinwoo could sense them but it's quite far away from his place right now.

After taking a look at the mansion for about an hour, he then decided to do his daily exercise in the backyard with 'quite' a lot of space. 

And by the time he was finished, the fake sun is already going to set. 

' Ah, it's been a long time, maybe i am truly find some sort of peace in exercising. ' Jinwoo daily exercise that initially consist of 100 squats, 100 sits up, 100 push up and 10 KM run had changed to 10 times of the amount it had decades ago. 

It's not just about the body.

Wiping his light sweat, Jinwoo suddenly opened his mouth.

" Is voyeurism not counted as a crime in the devil society? What are you doing, Serafall? " 

" Yaaa~, i never thought you could sense me even though i've conceal my presence pretty well. " 

Serafall then appeared out of thin air, well actually she appeared from behind the tree near the mansion. Jinwoo thought that she looks quite serious and more mature now that she's not wearing her magical girl attire. He definitely prefer 

" You must be already know that i'm there for quite a long time and watching your training. Maybe you secretly want me to watch you training bare chested!! Aww, you are so naughty Jin-tan. "

" This girl... *sigh* Now, why does the busy devil queen is wasting her time to watch me doing some basic training? " 

Hearing that question, Serafall trying to play innocent. 

" Am i perhaps not allowed to accompany my important guest. "

" I'm just a human, a lowly race for a high-devil like you. " 

Serafall shaking her head.

" No no, not at all... That's just a stereotype for the old generation of devils. We the new generations of devils isn't holding that same mindset anymore, we actually trying to create a close relationship between the two race. "

" By that close relationship, do you mean the sugar-coated slavery called the Peerage system? Is that the close relationship you want to create? " Jinwoo said. He had used memory manipulation to the maids and gain some very important information he needed about this underworld and devil society specifically.

There is no killing intent behind that words. Not even a single bit. Even Jinwoo is smiling faintly as he said that, even though to Serafall it definitely wasn't a smile.

" I'm not trying to justify some of the devils action using that peerage system. But, most of the time it was actually in consent. But, aside of that i wonder you who initially doesn't know anything about the underworld suddenly knows about that... I wonder who are you actually? " Serafall said.

" Are you an enemy or ally " She continued.

" I am just a bystander, for now. I'm not you enemy nor your ally. One thing i can assure you is that i am a human. " 

" You've said that a couple of times already. But are you really? An ordinary human couldn't possibly block this! "

In an instant, a giant ice spear around 8 meters is flying towards Jinwoo's head in an incredible speed. But to him, the spear is in slow motion. And with the flick of his finger-

The Ice Spear is obliterated into dust, Serafall widened her after witnessing that happen. 

' Wha-, he doesn't even move an inch... This guy, he def- ' Before she could finished her thought, she felt like some giant invinsible hand is grabbing her body tightly. 

' This, telekinetic force? '

" I'm never said that i'm an ordinary human, but isn't that a wrong way to trait your important guest, Serafall? " Jinwoo said as he decided to release Serafall from Ruler's Authority.

" Kuh.. What did you just do? " Serafall asked, still creeped out that she got squeezed by an invinsible force.

" I won't answer your question, before you answer mine. " Jinwoo shrugged.

" Hmph!~, you don't understand a lady's feeling, Jin-tan. You won't find you a fine lover if you act cold and scary like that all the times. "

" I'm married, so your point is? " Jinwoo said as he showing his right hand.

" W-what! You married already? " Serafall shouted.

" Why do you look surprised? " 

" N-nothing *uhum* " Serafall trying to change the topic as she evaded that question.

" Anyway, i guess i must apologize for my rudeness. If i'm being honest you Jin-tan, i just want to know if you are dangerous or not. Yea!~, that's it."

" And... am i dangerous to you? " Jinwoo asked.

" Well, you are... but i... ugh nevermind, you are so bad-mannered Jin-tan, this magical girl Levia-tan is definitely going to punish you! " Serafall said, Jinwoo don't know what to say.

" Other than that, we have wasted so much time already, i actually wanted to to invite you to dinner and introduce you to my parents. "

" You know that i'm a married man. "

" That's not what i mean! " Serafall yelled while Jinwoo just chuckled, he had a good laugh.

" Mou, you bad boy. "

Serafall pouted before she going towards the mansion, while Jinwoo just smiling and shaking his head before following the devil queen.
