This is just a brief explanation of what the world building look like, some info might be consider spoiler though.
The novel took place simultaneously in two different worlds, an ancient world of cultivation with martial arts and a modern world of technology coexisting with supernatural abilities.
Ancient World Of Cultivation
We have three different realms in this world, the Heavenly Realm, Mortal Realm and the Realm of Demons and Devils. I'll give a brief description of each realm to help readers remember and understand a few things.
Starting from profanity to divinity.
Realm of Demons and Devils
This is the realm where profane beings dwell, beings who are countless feet's away from divinity made up the realms of demons and devils and they are divided into three classes with each class having their own rank.
Beast: The lowest class in this realm and the class at the bottom of the chain in the demons and devils realm, beasts are known for their mindless and ferocious nature, they're classified into six different rank.

Wretch
Predator
Scourge
Behemoth
Guardian
Demons: This is the immediate class above the beast class, they have a number of intelligence and also wield unique power that made them different from the beasts, demons are known for their great mastery of hunting skills, they're classified into 5 different rank.
Imp
Abominable
Malefactor
Defiled
Archdemon
Devils: This is the last class in the profane realm, devils are the most dangerous beings in this realm and are on equals terms with the gods, just like gods, they're a deity in their realm. Their intelligence is higher than that of humans and they're known for their corrupting influence and their world reshaping power. They're also classified into five ranks.

And then we have the mortal realm
Mortal Realm
Humans cultivate their life energy to increase their natural prowess and transcend their mortal limits to attain immortality, the people who cultivate their life energy are called cultivators and they're classified into different rank.

The mortal realm is divided into six different Sects with each Sects having their own unique technique to cultivate their life force.
We have the Venom Sect, Phoenix Sect, Misty Flame Sect, Dragonette Palace, Flying Lake Cult and Hard River Society.
Venom Sect: This is not the most powerful Sect in the world but they're considered the most dangerous Sect because of their witty mind and the strict rules on their disciples which made them provides strongest disciples every year and rule the cultivation world for a complete 30 years. The Sect that accept male disciples only.
Phoenix Sect: One of the two major Sects with powerful elders.
Misty Flame Sect: The Sect with the most powerful technique in the cultivation world as their technique grants them control over flame.
Dragonette Palace: The second major Sect with powerful elders and the Sect to provide the first known cultivator at the Overlord rank in the cultivation world. This Sect is like the opposite side of the Venom Sect as they also have strict rules for their disciples and only accept female disciples.
Flying Lake Cult: They're known for their technique that grants them affinity to water.
Hard River Society: They're known for their solid defense technique.
