Impressing Mikoto

"Sota Uchiha was a woman of ideals," Mikoto said, her crimson eyes glistening as she pursed her lips, "She wanted to become a great Ninja and one to support Konohagakure in any way she could- so she took any and every mission,"

Mikoto took a deep breath, it seems that reminding Rem of his mother was taxing but Rem wanted the true story.

"Sota had the three-tomoe Sharingan which made her a formidable opponent but alongside that Sharingan was care for anyone she battled against," Mikoto said, "She could never finish the job- she never believed killing your foes was the way to do it, and she pushed hard to make sure I understood as well, sadly the world of a Ninja didn't operate like that,"

"The world of Ninja is ruthless, the children are taught that from the beginning but Sota refused to believe that- she wanted to change the world and prevent more deaths," Mikoto said, "But it couldn't be helped- She was a great cook too and a nice person to socialize with,"

"But it seems that belief- that people could be saved, that even people who have committed great evil could be spared… it went with her down to the grave," Mikoto said.

Rem bit down on his lips, hard enough for them to draw blood but Mikoto calmly stroked his hair.

"Don't let the feelings of vengeance grow in your heart," Mikoto advised, "They will only make you stray away from the path of truth- Vengeance makes a person weaker not stronger,"

Rem nodded, he was going to continue being a Ninja for Konohagakure and exact his revenge on Sunagakure but not… going down the path of Vengeance, it was not something his mother would have wanted for him. Rem understood that looking for Vengeance would make him weaker.

'And I might abuse the System as well,' Rem thought to himself.

"So do you want to stay for a while?" Mikoto asked, "We could begin your training immediately,"

Rem nodded eagerly and Mikoto rose from the bed, eliciting a slight blush as she saw Rem's eyes on her bolstering cleavage.

"You're as much of a pervert as your mother," Mikoto huffed under her breath and Rem averted his gaze, nervously, "Let me wear my training clothes, I'll make sure to rep you into shape,"

"Training clothes?"

Mikoto entered the backyard, wearing a fabulous tracksuit that hugged her curves properly- and even gave Rem a great view of her cleavage.

"Like what you see?" Mikoto asked as she looked at Rem, he was no longer blushing but now smirking… He truly had changed from the defenseless boy she had seen earlier- his right hand held a Kunai tightly and Mikoto could see that his muscles were relaxed but his guard was up… as expected of a true Ninja.

"Yeah," Rem replied and Mikoto nodded, moving at Jonin level speed and landing some meters away from Rem, "I assume you give Sasuke and Satsuki this kind of training,"

"You assumed right, my children get training everyday – that's how Sasuke manages to remain in peak physical conditioning," Mikoto said pridefully, "Now I want you to come at me with everything you got, Even though my Sharingan isn't activated – I can perceive movements and it'd be a shame if you fell quickly, besides I want to really see if you're Sota's son or not,"

Rem nodded and channeled Chakra into his feet and around his body, triggering the reinforcement he learned from Naruko- he hadn't perfectly gauged Jonin level strength but Mikoto's stats were high, since he was planning to impress her… he wouldn't hold too much back.

"Hmm, Chakra enforcement huh? You've been hanging with Kushina too?" Mikoto asked.

"No it was my classmate that taught it to me," Rem replied while shooting forward at Chunin level speed, he closed the distance between himself and Mikoto and threw his fist forward, Mikoto dodged his punch quickly and Rem had expected that- he twisted his body mid-air and threw a spin-kick at her face, Mikoto bent her knees and bent over, dodging the attack as well.

Rem's first leg landed on the ground and he flipped through the air, creating some space between himself and Mikoto- there was some kind of feeling he was having right now, after he missed his second strike- trepidation crept into his heart… It seemed Mikoto was about to land something on him and it had the potential to end him.

"Your instincts are on point," Mikoto said, "Truly a great thing to have as a warrior but it's my turn,"

Mikoto didn't hold back her speed, shooting forward and appearing right in front of Rem instantly… she aimed a punch for his forehead but the Uchiha raised his right hand into the air and blocked the strike, but his reinforcement proved nothing against Mikoto's brute fists as Rem felt something crack… it was slight but his arm had lost energy.

Mikoto wasn't done yet, pulling her leg back and throwing a kick at Rem's stomach… his eyes flashed as time seemed to slow down.

'I can't dodge this…'

'How do Sasuke and Satsuki survive this?'

Rem decided to forgo the prior reinforcement he had channeled to every part of his body and focus everything on his stomach… Rem could feel it, chakra bubbling within his stomach as Chakra burst forth like flames. MIkoto's foot collided as well and Rem was sent staggering backward a few meters but his feet never left the ground.

He smiled as the reinforcement on his stomach vanished and he entered a Combat stance.

"Your Taijutsu is strong but not on the level of that Crazy woman," Rem said, if only he had this reinforcement technique when he was facing against her- things could have been different.

He quickly pumped chakra all over his body once again, he wasn't taking his chances but he still had a skill to master- That black flash, it seemed like an amazing move and he wanted to use it so bad.

"Better time than any," Rem muttered under his breath as he moved toward Mikoto, throwing his Kunai aside and letting chakra circulate round his body.
