"My name is Rhicina, I am the master of this branch of the guild. Sorry to act so abruptly, but we need to talk privately for a moment, come with me." She said without waiting for a answer from Nicola and went out towards the stairs without waiting for him.

Nicola was confused for a few moments before following her upstairs. She went up to the top floor of the building and left the door to Nicola's office open, the office was simple and had no unnecessary decorations, only the furniture and little equipment were present in the room.

"You must be confused about the reason for this meeting, right?" She said and Nicola nodded. "Well, as I already told you, I am the master of that branch of the guild and because of that I have access to all the mercenaries that come out of the city of Jambel.

As soon as you entered the city I received a report, it is not very common that things like that pass through my jurisdiction but seeing the race present in your documents I was notified and decided to have a conversation with you to explain some things."

Nico then took off his hood showing his face to Rhicina, his eyes of different colors contracted with the skin slightly red and the seven small white horns on his head sprouted through his black hair. "I hope this is no problem, Miss Rhicina." He said.

She looked at Nicola but did not show any reaction typical of those who had previously despised him. His eyes remained placid as a forest as he looked at Nicola's demonic face. "You look way more beautiful to me than your race equals. Usually they have those huge horns and disproportional body parts." She said as she looked curiously as if she couldn't wait to see the rest of Nicola's body.

Those words hit Nicola, never in his life after being reborn in that body he was labeled as beautiful by anyone, she was the first person to praise his appearance and that left him bewildered and without reaction.

Because of the wars caused by the demon emperor, anyone with demonic blood is seen with evil eyes in both the Melkor empire and the Kingdom of Avec.
