Chapter Two - Flash back

The first time I met Nadine was in my hometown in California, it was at a church that my family goes to. And there I saw a gorgeous girl beside a fountain as she tosses a coin and made a wish. I was twelve years old back then. I shyly approach her, hands sweating as I got closer. And I learned that her name is Nadine and she said that she is nineteen years old. She's seven years older than me. I wanted to know more about her, but unfortunately my mom called my attention saying, we're going home. Ended up me saying goodbye to her. I hoped I'd get to talk to her again.

The next Sunday, I was so thrilled to see her again and have the chance to know her better. But I've never see her, there was no sign of her. Her raven hair, light pale skin tone, those almond shape eyes and dull blackish eyes. A smile so mesmerizing, as if luring you to join her. After a month, I still not see a single sign of her. I was so upset that I began to ask around if they have seen her. Yet something seems strange. No one knows who she is, or what she even looked like.

*Sighing Heavily*

"Where on earth could she be?" I asked myself.

I sat on the bench beside the fountain, and found myself spacing out while my eyes fixated on the fountain in front of me.

"Hey? Are you alright?" Said a sweet voice.

I turned around to find out who it was.

"I'm fine, who are you?" I asked.

"My name is Stacey, what about you?"

"I'm Harper,"

"Hi Harper, I often see you here every Sunday, are you waiting for someone?"

"Yes, do you know someone who's name is Nadine? She is very beautiful, her eyes is like the color of the sky!" I asked her hoping she knows her.

"I'm so sorry but I don't know her,"

"That's fine, I will see her again maybe,"
