The next morning, Adrian, Lilith, and Medea woke up feeling more rested than they expected. After bathing together once again, a playful but relaxed routine they'd settled into, they dressed and packed their things.
The temple's hospitality had been comfortable, though Adrian remained cautious. He couldn't afford to let his guard down, not even in a place like this.
As they made their way out, Selene was already waiting for them with a serene smile on her face. She greeted them with a deep bow. "Good morning, my Lord and Ladies. I trust you enjoyed the service last night?"
Adrian glanced at Lilith and Medea before answering. "It was… unique. But we can't stay for long. We have to be on our way."
Selene seemed slightly disappointed but nodded graciously. "Of course. I had hoped you might stay for the morning worship as well, but I understand. May the goddesses guide your journey."
