Defeating the Boss

Kurai looked at Aether in his mindscape, thinking that he would be irritated that he hadn't used his ability, but instead the man seemed to be relieved that there might be another way.

He nodded and removed Abyss' sword from its sheath as well after equipping the rings that Emmy had given him.

His body immediately felt lighter as he dodged the boss' attacks while trying to lead it away from the people who were still standing there and watching the fight as if it were some damn circus show.
