To The Rescue (Pt-1)

As the sun began rising lighting up the dark shady environment of Viridian Forest a small blueish-greenish Pokémon was dashing from tree to tree making sure that it always had a place to hide. Ever since his friends were captured by those stupid hairless monkeys, he had been hiding in an underground burrow that he had found by accident. It made an amazing home with plenty of nearby bushes that contained fruits.

Living deep inside the Viridian Forest wasn't something that he would like to do if he didn't have to, after all, he needed a good amount of sunlight. The reason that he was in this forest, to begin with, is because those hairless monkeys try to attack him as soon as they see him. The dark forest gives him a good cover, and the burrow was a perfect home. Sadly 3 days ago a feeling of fear that he had never felt before caused him to have to quickly escape. His instincts had never steered him wrong and he had no intention to start ignoring them anytime soon.

He ran until he thought he had run enough, sadly that day he was being pushed further and into the forest. It was like whatever creature that was emitting synch dangerous vibes was following him. Thankfully it stopped after showing it's powers three times, the next day however it appeared again but this time it was coming from inside the forest. After that, he was being chased back and forth, further into the forest and then back to the edge of the forest.

All that running had made him hungry, that's the reason he was now taking a break to rest and eat some berries. He used his Vines to reach the tall trees and take the red berries he had always loved. When he was reaching for his 4th berry he suddenly felt like the temperature around him decreased. He looked at the treetops and didn't see much of a change in the sun to make it so chilly.

He suddenly got a gut feeling that he was in danger and he quickly used the vines that he had sent to get the fruit, to wrap around a branch instead. Once it was wrapped he was about to real it in and raise his body up to the trees but before he was able to do that a Razor leaf cut the vines.

He was about to start running but a vine warped his body from behind.

Suddenly he heard someone speak in the language of the hairless monkeys. "Gengar I wouldn't mind your help."

Out of his shadow, a purple ghost popped its head out and licked him. He felt his body go numb, no matter how much he tried to move he couldn't. From behind one of the trees, a different type of hairless monkey popped out. This one seemed to have black scales which he had never seen on any of the others, to make things stranger this one also seemed to have the stingers of the Beedrill.

Besides the horror of a monkey, there was a large Pinsir that seemed to be ready to protect the monkey beside him who suddenly closed his eyes and didn't open them.

'Is it asleep? What does it want from me?'

"Once again we can have fun hehe. I never expected a human could produce such fear that it sends everyone running, it's amazing. What's even more surprising is that for some reason I couldn't even possess him, you have no idea how lucky you are to become part of our team. He gives us food, plays around with us most of the day, I'm glad I found him hehe."

He tried rotating his head to see who was talking with such a mischievous tone but his body would still not move. The Pokémon flew over his head and once again he saw the purple ghost Pokémon. She was circling around him as if it was a game.

He was angry and yelling at her mentally until he felt the frighting feeling that he had been feeling these past few days. The only difference was that this feeling was stronger, a lot stronger.

He was surprised to see that the body of the money was starting to be surrounded by a blood-red light. After a few seconds, it opened its eyes and revealed a pair of eyes that glowed red.

The moment that it opened its eyes the feeling that he felt was severely multiplied. He felt his blood run cold, his body felt like it was being pierced by tiny needles, and what was worse the body of the monkey turned into a mist of red blood that watched him as he was being sucked into the ground which had suddenly also turned into blood.

"There's no use struggling little guy, you either surrender to us or you become Gengar's lunch. If you join us then I can assure you that you and I will become close friends isn't that right guys?"

Suddenly he heard distorted voices coming all around him but he couldn't quite make out what they were saying or who they were from. All he could see was the misty figure that was glowing red and the blood red river that he was drowning in, everything else was just black.

In one of the hands of the misty figure, a round red ball appeared and it was thrown to him. The trap that had gotten so many of his friends was now the very same that trapped him.

MC POV:

Ethan and 8 of the Pokémon that he had captured watched as the Pokéball began rolling on the ground. He had felt sorry for the poor Bulbasaur it didn't even stand a chance since it was surrounded by so many Pokémon.

When the Pokéball finally stopped rolling they all cheered together. Gengar quickly grabbed the Pokéball and began playing catch with it as it kicked it to Pickachu. The yellow rodent used its tail to flick it to Caterpi who used its purple horn to hit it to Beedrill.

The moment that Ethan saw that Beedrill was getting ready to use its spear-like stinger he quickly let go of his self-made spear and jumped to catch the Pokéball.

Luckily he caught it before it got near Beedrill and its crazy spearheads, "Come on guys respect our new teammate. Make sure that you welcome him and try to help him recuperate from the scare he just ha...."

"AAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!" (x 3)

Ethan heard three different yells coming from not too far away. He quickly put the Pokémon away, everyone except Gengar who liked being inside his shadow, and Pidgey who would help him find the people who yelled.

He ran in the direction of the voices at full speed, since Pidgey could get a view from up high it found whoever had yelled pretty quickly. When he finally arrived he found 2 people laying on the ground next to a strange cat Pokémon.

The man and the woman were wearing white clothes with the letter R.

All around them there were footprints, "Well looks like they got in the way of the Pokémon I spooked using the Intimidation skill.

He began inspecting them for any injuries but to his surprise, he didn't find any. While he was inspecting the golden plate that the cat Pokémon had he saw Gengar come out of his shadow.

It began looking at the knocked-out woman and it suddenly flew into her. Suddenly the woman sat up and jumped on top of him hugging him and suffocating him.
