35 Last Week before Vacation
"Why is that cop harassing you? And at the door of our building too!!" Yanlin interrogated once he and Lina entered the apartment.
Lina stared at the screen on the cellphone, "Huh?" she asked not completely focused.
"Lina!" he said shaking her arm, "Is that Officer going to cause any problems for us? For me?"
Lina saw the worry in Yanlin's face, she placed her arm around him.
"Don't worry, he is just after me because he wants to date me. But... I will find a way to put him off... Okay? Forget about it."
Yanlin looked around nervously, "Fine Lina... but just get rid of him."
She nodded and forced a reassuring smile.
"Li Na!!" called dad from the living-area, "Come here I need to talk to you."
Lina removed her jacket and bag and went to join her dad on the small sofa.
"Yeah dad?" she said, still holding her cellphone.
"Listen dear, Mrs.Kim was telling me about her daughter, she will be visiting from Korea and I promised her that you would show her around Beijing."
