William covered the sleeping beauty with a blanket, and got up.
Without much time to spare, he'd have to skip a shower and just shower once he arrived in the States.

He sighed and turned to face the windows as he brushed back his messy hair, and zipped up his pants.
William watched the evening sky which was now shifting to a dark coal night and he started to feel guilty for leaving her.
In the past, when Jen was pregnant, he had left her multiple times, and after she had given birth he would often leave her for work functions, dinners or trips. Although Jen was always more vocal, everytime he'd need to go, a huge fight would ensue and would either end with many broken objects, a much needed slap or her stubbornly coming with him.
