163 A Deal with the Devil
Five years ago,
Lina had been at a college party with some friends. Her mother had asked her to stay home and take care of her seventeen year old brother, but she had a date with a cute boy.
He was her first boyfriend and first kiss, and this was Lina's first time to be invited out, so she brought her brother along to the party.
During that night, Lina had made the worse mistake of her life in leaving the party to go on a walk with her boyfriend.
She could still remember the cold evening air and the sweet kisses from that baggy pants' kid until they passed by a coffee shop and with a look through that glass window Lina's presumptions were confirmed.
There was her mother, in the arms of a man who was not Lina's father. She was laughing and flirting. They even kissed and rubbed noses.
Lina's mother's honey brown eyes met with Lina's and the two argued for hours on the cold sidewalk.
