Leila did not blame him one bit for what happened. Yes, the situation made it look like he was the one that led them to this place but Leila believes it was far from the case.
The marble was an indication of familiarity for Leila. It has been a while since she spotted a marble that felt very familiar to her and she hated the thought of it.
But if she was right, then she was sure Nolan was not safe. A subtle sigh escaped her lips as she placed the cup on her lips to take a sip of her drink.
Nolan still thinking he was mad at her spoke again, "Ly, I apologize. I could repay you. Just tell me how much it-"
"It's not about the money!" Leila said dropping the glass on the counter abruptly
She jumps down from the stool and rubs her head. Nolan stood up also and rushed to her then held her by her shoulders as he stood at her side. He said nothing until he was sure she was calm.
