You Are Zoning Out!

I was ready for this day, I was ready to man up, to walk onto that podium and make someone my wife for once and for all. That was the dream, that was my idea for this year as it ends. She is the perfect woman of all days, she is the person I want to spend all these remaining days of my life with. I don't want to look the other way again, I don't want to bed another person apart from her. My life has been good and Dee is the woman that is going to make me happy for the rest of my life.

         "You are zoning out again, can you focus?"

I was inside the steam and Dominic thinks this is the best for me. He thinks that it will help me calm down, and avoid some unnecessary behavior while at the podium. I can't promise that, I know how I behave when I am around Dee. She makes me feel things that I have never felt before, she wakes some things in me that no other lady can have woken and to date, I have never known what it is that she is making me do or what switch she turns on in my body, all I know is that I am different with her and my body responds to her in a very different way than any person in the world.

I am not zoning Dominic, I am trying to do my best to keep it calm, was this how you are doing during our day with Claire because I can fucking sweat I want to see Dee this time round, don't you think that two days is enough torture for both of us? I mean it was a good idea but look at how I feel like I might end up dying any second!

Dominic listened to my rants but he was not giving me an answer, Jade was sitting next to me and he was busy singing the rhyme that he usually sings. Trust me, without him, I would be having full-blown mode symptoms of Dee. He is around me and makes sure that he assures me that everything is going to be okay. When he comes from visiting Dee yesterday, he told me that she was fine and she had said, hi. They won't allow me my phone and everything is in there, I can't even use the telephone in the house to call Dee they have all been disconnected. Fuck!

"Are you that nervous? It will be okay, keep it together, I don't want to see you all over the place looking like a maniac, it can be tricky sometimes, what helped me was the design of my coat, my friend, I was having the boner for the whole occasion, it was like I was going to explode, she would hold my hand during the occasion to assure me that everything was fine but the second she removed her hands, I was in the fire. Wanted to jump on her like a lion on his prey and take her off but I couldn't"

I widened my eyes listening to Dominic talk and wondered what it would be like with Dee. He knew very well keeping focus is hard for him and he might have to try something else that will help him survive apart from just holding her. His coat was not a tuxedo to mean that it was a short coat and anything he does will likely be seen. He had to be cautious with everything.

What is the importance of steaming anyway? I don't see anything good with it. We have already done some massage, I trimmed my hands the way you said and the pedicure was amazing I have to confess that but I love Dee's style, she does it more magically than these guys. Why did you insist that they make sure my fingers are short again?

Dominic laughed at me, Pete walked into the room and sat next to Jade who was opposite Dominic and me. He laughed listening to me questioning Dominic about trimming my fingers.

"Dude, you dont want to infect her with your fucking long fingers that hide bacteria, plus they have to be short, are they usually long when you touch her?"

I looked at my nails again and realized that I have never for once trimmed my fingernails or looked at them before touching Dee, if they have been hurting her l, she would have told me that it's painful but at the same time I had to look at them and they were trimmed nicely. I know they won't hurt her now. I will have to confirm with her though. 

Okay, I think they are okay and thanks for the heads up, I will make sure that I trim them regularly when I am about to touch her, I didn't even realize that fingers ate that painful because she has never talked about it.

"Maybe you are good with them, either long or short, don't worry, Dominic is just paranoid of everything."

Pete said while holding Jade who was now on his lap trying to climb and have a good view of everything as if he couldn't already see through everything in the steam house.

Can we get out now, it's fucking hot in here and I feel like I am going to burn up right now from all that heat.

Dominic stood up and Pete held Jade as we walked out of the room. We went back to our hotel to take a shower before my day begins. I had to take a long shower as Dominic recommended though there was no reason as to why I had to do that. I am okay with the normal shower that I take.

"You must make sure that you scrub every part of you, take your time to wipe yourself clean before you step into that suit."

Dominic's word, not mine, and that's why I have to spend another twenty minutes in the bathroom as if I am cleaning the lungs and the large intestines right now. I was just doing a normal routing of drying myself which is now taking longer than necessary.

Done with the cleaning, Pete had to help me check to check my ears that were clean and helped to make sure that nothing was out of the ordinary. Dominic was busy washing Jade to make sure that we all have a nice day. After making sure that I was okay. He asked me to put on some shorts as the stylist was supposed to walk in and start with the makeup. 

Is it a must? I mean, Dee will be okay with me even if I looked like a baboon or a Greek god and some makeup won't change how she feels about me?

"Only that you need it because we have weddings once in our lives, you are not planning to divorce our little sister, are you?"

Fuck no, I am not planning that but must I have those powder thrown on my body and my eyebrows shaded like a girl's?

I had to ask because now they were trying to torture me. They made sure that I look different from the other days. If this is what Dee is passing through in the side of the preparation room, the trust she will be crying by now, she will be shedding tears and calling for my name. She never takes more than thirty minutes to finish her preparation. Just some toner, serum, and sunscreen, and we are done, then a lip gloss was to make her lips pop, that's what she says and we are done. She will tell you she is not good with lipstick because she loved eating her lips and I have to agree with her. Looking at the two grown men with a little man looking at me waiting for me to say yes so that they can bring in a make-up artist scared me, I don't know if they want to change how I look or they just want to make me look unique, I just hope I won't be anything like a joker.

The makeup artist walks in and she says hi before setting her tool on the table. I don't have anything to fear because she is a lady, I know where my boundaries with female stands, I can tell you, they are tricky but if you desire success, stick with one woman who makes sure you are good and everything is okay. I didn't want to wink, that will make her feel like I want to have some side business with her. She smiles and I settle down with Jade on the watch like my bodyguard.

"He is my uncle and he is handsome, you can't touch him like my Aunt Dee always does, I am here to make sure that you don't touch him, you are only going to do his makeup the way he does before he goes for a show or a TV Talk, okay?"

I looked at Jade and laughed asking the lady to give me a second to burst into peals of laughter before this thing continues. I am sure as hell, that even if I want to sneak my hands and start convincing this lady in front of me that we can smile that was not going to happen.

"Uncle, why are you laughing, have I said it wrongly, or do you want me to video call Aunty Dee and ask her if it's okay for someone to peck your cheeks apart from me and her?"

"Jade for Christ's sake can you keep quiet, she is not going to peck your Uncle's cheek, she is going to make sure he looks, and after that, you are going to experience that okay?"

"Yes, papa, I am going to keep quiet, but Miss, that doesn't mean I am not watching, all my eyes are on you. Uncle Jake, I am watching like a bat I will be watching you and in case of anything, your Jaki Chan Jade is here!?"

Ooh lawd, Jade will kill me. He knows very well how to make you laugh, how to make sure that you are okay and right now he is trying to give me some moves that suggest he can do Taekwondo. I think this is all that I need before going to that stage. 

The lady focuses on me and does everything that she is supposed to do with much keenness.  I watch as Jade is looking at everything she is doing while Dominic is with his phone recording.

Why are you recording, I thought not taking pictures before the wedding.

"No, it's for approval, Claire said that it is important that everything matches perfectly and so far she loves it. Don't worry I am not going live or anything I am just trying to follow instructions on what I was told to do."

Thank Lawd the wedding is a one-day thing or else if we had a wedding every month, I would be crying trying to make sure that I am okay and sane, I would have been thrown in a psychiatric hospital to make sure that my brain is not running wild.  I listened to Jade tell restores about himself about school and how they helped save a friend from a spy. 

Wait what did you say again? Are you joking right now because that won be good to make me listen to your lies?

"No, you can ask mum and Aunty Dee if they were there, I think it was a name like Christopher but I am not sure. I just had to say goodbye to him after saying sorry for laughing at him."

I looked at Dominic, he had to ask Claire about the spy thing that Jade is trying to tell us here or I change my mind about the wedding. Too late, I can't change it for anything.  This is the day that Dee and I had planned and we have to make sure that it came to life. We promised to ask them after the whole wedding thing is over. 

"You look nice, I have tried to align the eyebrows and then I have trimmed the excess part before shaping them not with an eye pencil or anything but I have used an invisible pencil."

The Lady said and I looked in the mirror to see the man that I was looking at. It was marvelous. I think I will be asking Dee to try the invisible eye pencil thing on my eyebrows. She is good with eyes, she is the one who trims my eyebrows and makes sure I am okay. 

I am satisfied with her work I will have to pit a five-star on her site. She moved to Jae who is calm and listening to the lady talk to him.

"Sorry but I have a girlfriend already, my aunty is a good girlfriend and I can't leave her. She is an angel on earth though we were told in school that we can't have angels on earth they are only in heaven."

Okay, I think that is enough chit-chat for the day. When Jade was done, we have to pause for a bit before the lady goes on to Dominic and  Pete. She did an amazing job and I recommended she be added some commission on the paychecks she deserved it. 

The next person to be called in was my fashion designer who made the suit, he needed to be available because I was not going to wear it without his saying how I look. I wore the latest Victorian dark black vintage suit. The material was clothing that soothed the skin, the tie had a whole new look on it. I will recommend this guy to anyone else. That's what I do. You will find me on TV recommending people who are important for making me look glamourous and I have already found two, I am told that Dee's dress is to die for and I can't wait to add my number three person on the list. That is how my weekly recommendation list goes.  

Done with me, he gave a gentle touch to my pocket and placed black clothes on it to make it look amazing. Dominic and n Pete wore black suits from head to toe, they had this demeaning look with them when the didn't smile, Lwad they are going to make sure they smile in my wedding, not with their faces all scaring people away. 

Jesus, you look like you are going to my funeral and I am here standing while looking at you guys?

"The look is important, we are going to smile when we get there, whom are we smiling at, You? Jade is may be smiling at you though?"

I looked at Jade in his white suit looking all glamourous, trust me this guy did everything perfectly. It's like he remodeled us looking like this before making sure that each one of us was important in his eyes. He was good with everything that came with it. I couldn't say anything else. I was surprised and amazed by his work. 

We stood at the mirror, All the four of us looking at the four gentlemen reflected in the mirror looking all adorable in the suits, charming and ready to seduce anyone in our way with our looks without even saying a word.

Dee, baby girl, here we come, you will ask for a private room before anything else and make sure that I take you!

Jake, you are zoning again? 

"I hope he is thinking about Aunty Dee with the way he is smiling. Love you uncle!"
