Will You Be My.....

The plane landed and Dee was woken up by the co-pilot who was moving up and down to try and search for anything unusual before they land. Dee watched as Jake was sleeping opposite her and she was having a shawl over her body. She wondered when did they do this. She stood up and woke Jake who was startled.  He has been sleeping for a long and when he woke up he was surprised that they were still in the air. 

"Where are we Dee, I thought we were taking a flight than going back home. Did they forget or maybe we took the flight all night and we are supposed to finish the flight?"

Dee smiled at him. She knew Jake was worried but she had everything in the plan. 

Yesterday in her office, she had asked Dominic and Claire to come over to her office when Jake was around. She didn't intend to be caught all that cozy and intimate. It took Dee by surprise.

Dominic and Claire were the ones who later went to their house and packed everything as Dee had instructed them. Though Dee had folded all the needed clothes for the trip until when Jake will be in Canada. She had to make sure someone else made the plans possible. After they were done packing, she asked them to drive to the airport and put them on the plane. So if you thought that Dominic and Claire were going for a funeral or to see a work colleague then you are wrong. They were making sure Dee's plan come to work. 

The second plan was to ask Jake and Dee over for a cup of coffee. They didn't want Jake to be suspicious about anything. Later Dee decided to ask Claire to quickly make a good meal out of it so that they will be out of the place when they are done eating. She didn't want Jake to know that some of his clothes were out of the closet which he would probably notice but at the same time, his bodyguards were on the road trying to make sure that they had safe transport to the airport. 

Arriving at their destination. The co-pilot was one of the bodyguards. He had to wake Dee up to make sure je doesn't disturb Jake who would wake with a fight or start any drama at this time of the day. 

Then a voice came from the cockpit, it was Salam, the pilot.

"Please, tie your safety belts and prepare yourself as we land in the City of Athens, Greece."

Jake raised his brows and looked at Dee who was laughing looking at his expression.  Dee had all things in place. As much as Jake was trying to tell Dee to keep the Greece thing until after his surgery, she knew it would be hard to get Jake to come for a trip over here after his surgery. She made sure she bring him here before his surgery to lighten up the mood for everything. He will get a chance to tour every place before his surgery on Friday and even get a good swimming pool. 

                "Wait a minute, who are you?"

Jake stared at ree who was smiling on the other side. Dee asked him to sit up, they were landing. From her window, they could see the fleet of vehicles waiting for them on the other side and the field controller waving for the pilot to land.

This is the point in life you should have seen how Jake was happy. Everything that he was talking about was done. Dee took every note that he was talking about. 

He wanted to land at Greece international Airport. He wanted to be received with the convoy and he wanted to have a fun day. Yeah, all those Dee made sure they were done, except that he was not done with his surgery. 

After they landed, the door was opened, Dee unbuckled her safety belt and looked at Jake. 

"I am sorry, I know you wanted to come here after your surgery but forgive me for bringing you here before it. Maybe you might get a chance to tour the place and enjoy some things before your surgery. I believe it's will be a sign of good luck. It is good if you tour the place first than straining yourself after the surgery, okay?"

Jame watched the way she was trying her best to make sure she didn't annoy him. Dee was everything to her. He was mad at her yesterday but he knew that was all stupid and he needed to man up. There is no way Dee will replace him with another man. If she didn't do that when they broke up, she is destined to maintain their relationship at this point. 

He walked from his sit and Dee was just looking at him, disappointed that Jake was mad, she sighed and looked out. The second she was looking in the airplane, her lips were on someone else. 

Jake was squatting beside her, looking all happy and excited. 

"Thanks, hun, this is all I needed, maybe I don't make a good decision after all. I hope I will be having a good surgery on Friday but before that, allow me to enjoy Greece and this old City before that day. I am grateful for everything hum, you are wonderful."

Jake placed another kiss on her lips before breaking it and holding her hands to walk her out of the plane. They were received warmly. Dee had to confirm her crew's safety and if they had a place to sleep. they always preferred to sleep near the airport but Dee told them to take a tour and have the place they chose to sleep under her name so that she can cater for everything. 

Done with them, she left them and walked with Jake to the vehicle. It was still early in the morning and they were tired from the jetlag. Jake suggested they sleep and then start their tour in the evening which will be a bit better than forcing themselves to travel or have a tour the same morning.

They had a private hotel, and the guards were positioned outside the rooms for their safety. Though they didn't need to worry about anything else.  They were safe in the City of Greece and all they wanted to do was be themselves. 

They took a shower and went into their beds. Jake held Dee who didn't seem sleepy in his embrace. 

            "How are you  doing?"

Dee asked after he felt that he was still awake and not sleeping as she was. They didn't want to engage in any tiring activity like being intimate at this time. That was a lie because all they will manage to do is get tired amidst everything and give up.

They slept there, looking at the beach other, Jake whispering to her the sweet nothing in her ears as Dee also responded to him with sweet nothing.

"I am sorry about yesterday, I don't know what came over me, I am truly sorry."

"I know you are frustrated, I know you fear that if you dont make it or if everything doesn't turn around the I will leave you and look for a better man. Every man that you see smiling at me is a threat to you. You don't need to be afraid. I am here baby, I love you and I will support you through everything. Don't feel frustrated. Everything will work out perfectly. I love you and this is what I want, this here,  I want everything and at the same time nothing in particular. Just chilling while you hold me like this, kissing the top of my head is all I need baby, there is nothing that I want to like the peace that comes with this. Be assured that every time, every day, I am choosing you, I love you, okay?"

Jake couldn't control the tears that were flowing from his face,  Dee had to hold him when he wanted to jump and run to the bathroom, she let the tears flow on her back as he cried nonstop. 

She understood he was afraid of everything but he didn't need to be afraid that for once she will ever leave him. They slept in that position. They did know how they had slept. They were all cozy sleeping with Dee Spooning Jade for the first time. 

They woke up later in the evening, Dee was the first one to wake up while Jake was still turning in bed, she made a quick arrangement and woke Jake up. It was already four in the evening, they had to take something because the small breakfast that they fought for was now nothing in their bellies. 

"Must we go? I mean I don't want to go anywhere in particular. Unjust want to sleep in and let that be."

See grabbed the sheets and threw them on the floor. She didn't want to see Jake all sleeping in bed at this point. She dragged him with his feet and Jake had to wake up quickly before he was dragged down.

Dee prepared a bath for him before making sure he made his clothes ready for him. Personally ironed the and once she was done, she stood with them at the bathroom's door.

            "Ready for an evening dinner with your precious baby?"

Jake smiled looking at the clothes that she chose. A pair of blue jeans, a white polo neck, and some white sneakers. He had a cap to go with but since there was no sun, she threw the cup away and handed him the only clothes that were there.

"What about my baby, anything special that you want?"

"I have everything ready for me. Just a simple  dress for the evening and everything will be fine."

Dee helped him dress up and later he helped her dress up. 

"I love the back of it, but tell me you will be having a coat to hide that because everyone is going to be looking at you."

Dee smiled and had to peck his lips again. 

"Don't worry, okay? I love you and no one is worth all these important body parts from you, it's all for to enjoy and no one else."

Jake didn't get what she meant by that but hoped that it had something important behind all that.

When they were done, it was seven thirty and the city of Anthem was dark. Dee loved the way it was dark but the city blight was all over the place. She grabbed Jake's hands and took him into the elevator. He was surprised when Dee punched the upper floor. 

"What about we admire the city before we go for our dinner?"

Jake didn't understand her, she had a lot of plans in her mind and all of them are coming to be. She has great ideas to start with. She first lied to him that they were going for a simple flight, right now they are in Greece, watching some streetlight that he doesn't think is fun to begin but with Dee by his side, he was positive about everything.

When the elevator was opened, they were welcomed with a piano playing and some guys playing the violin. 

"You have to tell me how you did this without me knowing everything. Did Claire and Dominic even have a funeral to attend or did they just say that to blind our eyes?"

Jake wanted answers but Dee asked him to have some manners and respect for the music. The played Jake's favorite tune and he couldn't help but be excited.

          "How are you feeling?"

Dee asked while holding his hands. She wanted to see his reaction.

"The truth, I feel like, I will be having a heart attack from all these surprises. I mean, you don't look like you are going to give me a surprise but when we get to the point, I am truly surprised. Let's take a look at that time when I wanted to bring you back into the family, I had to surprise you but you already knew that something was going to happen, with you, I don't even have a clue what is going to happen."

Dee pouted again looking at him, she thought he was defeated. 

             "Are you mad now? Do you want to cry?"

"Maybe, maybe I wanted to cry because all of these are heartwarming and I can't even calm myself."

Dee kissed his hands and calmed him down. He has been emotional ever since They arrived in Greece. She smiled at him and their meal was brought in. A special chef had to walk in and make sure that he prepared a very important meal for them.

Jake had his special steak, the way he loved it while Dee had to have her special made lamb, with some lentils.  A bottle of wine was brought in and Dee didn't even back down on it. Jake smiled at her as they enjoyed everything. The meal was made to their expectation and the music was emotional for both of them. 

"I love everything here. I mean, look at the streets, the music that you've chosen for me,  the meal. All this is so heaven. We need to make a place like this. It will be good if we go there and have a meal once in a while, what do you think?"

De nodded to him, they had to have a place like this, it will be a good thing for them. She thought of her little restaurant and she knew she can use the upper roof to her advantage. They can attract customers with the upper floor and at the same time, once in a while they can decide to just eat up there as a family and nothing more.

The evening breeze was hitting the rooftop and Jake loved it. They had a camera guy who took pictures of them while they were on the roof. Jake admired everything that came with it. He was happy in his life, he was excited and at least the fear of the surgery, the fear that things may turn out wrong didn't bother him at all. She listened to Dee's silly jokes, the silly things she said while they were there. He knows that most of it doesn't make sense but what made sense was how happy he was.

           "Will my Lord, mind a dance?"

Jake was surprised by everything. He agreed to the dance and held Dee's hands that were stretched out for him. The silly dance that Dominic taught them comes in handy. They danced as they moved sideways. The music was alluring and they loved it. 

    The slow music made Jake lean on her shoulders.

"I have been saying this a lot but I want you to know how much you mean to me, you are special to me in every way, I love you. I don't want to lose you,  but one thing first..."

Jake suddenly broke the hug and looked at Dee who wa talking. Dee maintained eye contact and went down on one knee.  Jake wanted to talk but nothing could come out of his mouth. He watched as Dee went down while smiling at him at the same time, she was serious. 

"This is probably the silliest question a woman might ask. I am not asking this because I am desperate or because I am afraid, I am asking because it's what I want with you hun. Will you be my boyfriend, my man the love of my life, can we start this again, not the way it was before this? I want something pure, something is woven in love. Will you be my boyfriend?"
