Ming Huo then picked the closest pavilion from the sect master's hall, and he threw his body to the bed as soon as he entered his abode

However, due to a conspiration of our rival family and that bastard, our whole family was destroyed and everyone was killed except for me." Ming Huo spoke as his whole body trembled causing his veins bulge due to the anger he is feeling

"Ooh, tell me more" Long Jun stroke his chin as he is familliar with this protagonist template

"As the young master of the Ming Clan, I was the most talented among the younger generation of my family and was showered with resources. To bring my grandfather to his side, the King engaged one of his daughters to me. I was againts the engagement as I heard the princess was already engaged to somebody else, but as it is the will of my parents and grandparents, I went along with it. Throughout our engagement, I avoided every meeting with her and have never met her until that day, the day when my family was destroyed."

"It turns out the princess's previous fiance was also from a marquis family and was also the most talented in their family. One day, the boy lost all of his cultivation, for that reason, the King canceled his daughter engagement and engage her to me. However, the person who was previously engaged to the princess thought that it was me who took her from him"

Ming Huo was about to continue telling his story when Long Jun intterupted him

"Thats enough Ming, I've heard enough." Long Jun said coldly and Ming Huo stopped speaking any further

'it seems my guess was wrong, my disciple is far from a protagonist, this is a template for the first villain who is the first stepping stone for the protagonist, the one who usually dies in the earlier chapters' Long Jun thought, listening at his pitiful story

"But why don't you have any cultivation base, weren't you the genius of the Ming Clan?" Long Jun asked

"As you have no cultivation base, this book will be the perfect fit for you." Long Jun said as he threw the book to Ming Huo

"That book is called the Crimson Phoenix sutra, a peak tier 7 cultivation technique and could only be cultivated by someone whose meridian is destroyed. By cultivating this technique, you will once again be reborned like a Phoenix!" Long Jun said as Ming Huo caught the book

"THIS DISCIPLE THANK THE MASTER!" Ming Huo shouted as he knew just how much value the book in his hand had, even he the young master of a marquis family could only cultivate a high tier 3 cultivation technique

"Cultivate it well Ming, let me know if you have any questions." Long Jun said and turned around, when suddenly he remembered somehthing "Ahh, and I almost forgot." Long Jun turned back and threw two pouches to Ming Huo "These are Qi gathering pills and body tempering pills for you"

"Thank you master!" Ming Huo said once again

"All right, head back to your abode and cultivate well, I will check on your improvement once a day." Long Jun said as he returned to his abode to continue cultivating
