Secrets of the Wicked

A plan that was supposed to involve saving her friends turned into a full-blown mess that plagues Anberine wherever she goes. The worst part is that it's not just any boy, it was the King's Son! How will she cope with her bully who now behaves like a puppy on not just any leash- her leash! Short Except- "What could you possibly want with her?" Marcus asked coldly only to pause as he saw Prince Skye show Anberine a withered purple flower which had yellow on the bottom petal that he had in his right jacket pocket. Anberine's mouth parted while her eyes as she narrowed them showed she was in disbelief, what was he up to? "Seriously...? A dead flower?" Anberine asked dryly not at all impressed by what he was up to. "Well it matches your eyes" Skye commented as he saw her newly changed violet eyes which were still not amused, clearing his throat he kept the flower visible "Violets that sparkle, flowers despite withering never suit you anymore than they do now" Skye said mentally blinking at what he was saying. 'Wait what? What did I just say?!' Prince Skye screamed mentally not believing what he had just said. 'Why did I said something so dumb?' he berated himself for the stupid comment. "What?" Marcus was left baffled while Anberine was even more confused, to prove she was confused she tilted her head and her expression showed she was completely lost. "What has he been drinking?" Anberine asked still in shock as she tried to observe any features that would have been off. "Did you sneak a sip from your father's wine cellar? Or did you hit your head when no one was looking?" Anberine asked bluntly now looking at Marcus who shrugged. "I did drink something" Prince Skye admitted causing the pair to stare at him quickly, that was odd why was he admitting anything and to them no less? "I've been drinking in your beauty and for a rat-faced girl, you look cute" he added with a sly smile. -Author's notes- Please let me know what you think, feedback and comments are truly appreciated. What is it?

"Exactly, so don't give it to anyone else and please Morgana. Don't mess it up" Mordred warned sternly knowing what Morgana was like as she frowned at him. Placing the cake in a small protective tin she held it while placing her left hand to her hip, her pouting grew from his cold words.

"I know what I'm doing, it's simple. All I'm doing is giving him the cake and that's it, why do you need to make it sound like I'm going to mess it up?" Morgana asked bluntly as she shook her head, her tresses moving side to side before they rested on her right shoulder.

"Because this is crucial, we can't mess this up" Mordred said, Morgana's lips pursed tightly before nodding.

"I know and I won't let you down" Morgana said before smiling slyly, "don't come crying to me once I succeed" she winked playfully. Turning she walked towards the door leaving him and Perceval staring at her blankly.

"Don't hold your breath" Mordred called out causing her to laugh with glee, Helga smiled before rushing towards the window leading to the courtyard which held most of the students who wanted to enjoy the sunlight before class the next day.

"This is going to be fun" Helga giggled with glee from what was going to take place, this was going to be something to remember for sure "hey where's Merlia? She's going to miss it" she asked while Perceval went out the room to observe a happy Morgana as she skipped down the flight of stairs, keeping to the shadows Perceval watched Morgana spot Prince Skye. It was then she stopped in order to sort out her appearance, once done she slowly made her way towards the male who was sitting on the bench with a few boys and the blond-haired girl who mocked Anberine at the food area, just seeing them took a lot out of Morgana. Observing their smug uncaring expressions, the lack of remorse for what they had done boiled her blood but instead of lashing out she smiled sweetly before approaching them. Hearing hushes and sudden silence Morgana kept her composure even as Skye turned to look at her, his eyes narrowed at the sudden appearance of a Dark Dweller who was now approaching him.

"What do you want?" Skye asked coldly before Morgana fished out the tin from her pocket. Curious he looked at it from the corner of his eye now wondering what was in the tin.

"A peace offering, Perceval told me you wouldn't eat sweet things because you're such a bitter person" Morgana said, a mental smirk formed on her face as she saw his eyes flash at the insult. At the same time some of the people sitting with him stared at her in shock. A few snorted at how bold she was to say this to the prince's face while some were horrified that she would insult the future king without a second thought. "Thought I'd hand you this to prove him wrong, then again if you're not really a sweet tooth... I'll understand. He did think you'd be too much of a baby to eat something from a Dark Dweller. Since you know we are dangerous and untrustworthy" she goaded slyly as she shrugged with a coy smile. Her mental smirk grew even more as she watched Prince Skye, who was starting to twitch due to the fact he was repressing his anger from even hearing the comments. Whether they were true or not.

"Why are you even listening to her? She's a nobody, a freakish skinned brat" the blond haired girl scoffed "don't go taking stuff from a Dark Dweller, she's probably poisoned it" she added darkly as she glared daggers at Morgana who shrugged in a nonchalant manner.

"Yeah, Elaine's right who knows what she's put in it" a brown haired brown eyed male teen said with a distrustful look as Morgana continued to remain composed, not once did she stop smiling which made it all the more suspicious and had left them uneasy.

"He's right, you don't know what I put in it... probably blueberries or- no no it's strawberries" she said with a pondering look before she opened the tin to show them the cake which looked modest and innocent to their eyes. "I'm a big fan of these things but I thought why not share it with the prince, but alas if the prince thinks he's too good for things-"

"I never said that" Prince Skye said with a frown as he stood up to inspect the cake.

"Don't be silly Prince Skye it's a ploy to poison you" Elaine said with a huff, the boys beside her remained on guard just in case the Dark Dweller tried anything to hurt the prince. However just as the prince was about to take the cake out of the tin, Morgana had slammed it shut with her fingers.

"Too bad, I'm going to have it all to myself then" she grinned widely knowing that he was now more curious as to what was so special about it. "I even made it especially for you after hearing from some of your fans on what sweets you would like to eat, oh well" Morgana sighed heavily as she turned to walk away only to freeze as he grabbed her wrist containing the tin.

"Did I say you could leave?" the prince snapped sharply shocking her, eyeing the tin he snatched it from her hand and opened it. His mind as he looked at the decorative but simple looking cake made him think about the book nerd girl he would often take his frustrations out on- speaking of her, he looked round to see she wasn't in the area nor did he see her in the tower where the nearest abandoned storage room was. Not that he was trying to look for her but it seemed strange that she would not be holed up in the room on a non school day. Eyeing the cake he threw caution to the winds and placed the whole cake into his mouth ignoring the reactions of everyone as he began chewing, he froze.

A sudden burst of strawberries and more sweet flavours swirled inside his mouth, some flavours that he didn't recognise attached his taste buds and it left him surprised that it actually taste good. Due to the fact it was small but extremely addictive had left him wanting to eat more than he would have wanted to be seen eating. Sooner than expected he spotted the object of his dislike walking through the courtyard and with the boy who was often at her heels. Just seeing the sight made him sick and annoyed that the boy was even bothering her to begin with, what was so great about her to begin with?

"Prince Skye?" Morgana blinked as she smiled with a nervous expression.

"Hmm?" Prince Skye paid little attention to the speaking Dark Dweller surprising her, Morgana who was confused by the lack of attention she was receiving moved her head so she was in his line of vision. However he had completely disregarded her and continued to stare at the girl he disliked while moving his head a bit so the Dark Dweller was not completely blocking his view.

"How is the cake?" she asked looking at him now with hopeful eyes trying to ignore any eyes that were on her.

"Oh shoot!" Anberine mentally slapped herself as she looked at Marcus who almost jumped from her sudden hushed yelp.

"What is it?" Marcus asked as he stopped to look at her.

"I just realised, the spell won't work if he is in love with someone else" Anberine scolded herself quietly before pausing as she realised what she had said, a dry chuckle left her lips shortly afterwards at the funny thought of him actually being in love with someone other than himself or even the fact he cared for anyone in particular given how he acted like he had a stone heart. Hearing her reply Marcus snorted.
