Chapter 1

In this world there are monsters. Interesting fact, I was once friends with a monster, I didn't know he was a monster of course though. I met him years ago, back when I was in elementary school, back then I was a lonely kid and got bullied alot, but I was okay because he would protect me. He would protect me and I would do my best to protect him, even though I wasn't as strong. He was not only my best friend, he was my only friend. Alot has changed since then, I became really popular and have lots of friends now, but I also found out he was a monster. Even though he was a monster, if it wasn't for him I would still be lonely. I really miss him, though I would never say that out loud. You see in this world monsters are horrible discusting creatures and I learned that the hard way. I was out one nig- "MS. SATO!" yelled Ms. Suzuki. "What are you doing!" " What do you mean Ms. Suzuki, I've been listening to you," Aika smiled casually " If you were listening to me then you would of heard me ask you a question!" The other kids snickered at Akia. Akia knew she had to do something if she wanted them to stop, so she said back snarkly "I'm sorry I was to busy looking at your hair." You see Ms. Suzuki had a obsessed with her hair, and had recently got a new haircut, and was worried it looked bad, so when she heard that she was obviously upset, but knew she had lost this fight. " I will let this slide for now, but next time I wont be so kind." "That was your definition of kind," Akia laughed
