Wan Mei Mei was born with a silver spoon and has not suffered any insult in her life. Those who have offended her have been severely dealt with by her secretly. In her school, she portrays a well-mannered girl who is friendly to everyone. However, those who crossed her path always ended up in a horrible situation.

But as she grew up, her old ways stopped and her temperament has improved. That's why when she was bested by Ma Liling a few years back, she did not do anything and just hold it in. It made her work hard to develop herself and grow.

However, as Ma Liling's career skyrocketed, Wan Mei Mei's jealous heart seems to worsen and her self-control began to weaken.

But today was the worse day as it seems that everything she has done in her life, the control, the patience, the tolerance all suddenly began crumbling.

She could not hold it anymore.

Her eyes turned hostile and killing intent was evident in her aura.

She suddenly lifted her hand and with all her might swung it towards Ma Liling's face.

She could not wait to see that beautiful face turning red with her palm prints on it. She wanted to make that face bleed. She wanted to make this woman who insulted her suffer. She wanted to ruin her... she wanted to shame her.

All evil intent inside Wan Mei Mei's head began to envelop her whole being as her hand came down.

However, she was astonished as someone seems to have caught her hand and stopped her from slapping Ma Liling.

"Are you crazy?" Lang Jun said in a hushed tone.

He could not believe that Wan Mei Mei is going to slap a famous celebrity in front of many people. If this would spread then it would be the end of her career, and his career that he painstakingly build would also end up in smokes.

He could not afford this scandal and would not just watch. Plus he was really attracted to that beautiful face which looks like an angel.

As his gaze shifted towards Ma Liling, his expression changes and he politely smiles.

"Please excuse us…" Lang Jun suddenly said as he drags Wan Mei Mei with him.

Ma Liling just showed a calm smile on her beautiful face. Although she was a bit taken aback, one of her hands which is holding the folding chair has already had a firm grip on its hand rest. She is actually prepared for anything at that time. But luckily it was stopped by that man.

"Sigh… I guess trouble would follow after this, right?" she thought as she has seen the eyes of that woman.

The thick murderous intent that she was exuding has made Ma Liling feel like a viper is looking at her and was about to strike.

She followed the two and saw Wan Mei Mei struggling in the hands of Lang Jun. That woman is showing a fierce expression as if she wanted to eat her alive.

"The shooting is done anyway, I think it's time to go home." She muttered as she prepared her bags.

Not long later, a crew member approached Ma Liling and told her to wait in the changing room as the director wanted to talk to her.

Along with her manager, they waited, and soon her manager was called out.

After a while, her manager returned.

"Liling, the company seem to be calling me back… would you be alright to wait here?"

"It's okay manager Lan. I'll wait for the director here." Ma Liling said with a smile.

After that, another hour has passed and Ma Liling feels a bit suspicious of the situation she is in right now.

She has already changed her clothes into a light gray body fit t-shirt and a pair of dark blue denim pants, with white sneakers. Ma Liling carefully peeked through the door of the dressing room and noticed that no one is around the set.

That bad feeling has increased and her intuition is telling her to leave this place.

She grabbed her phone and tried to call her manager, but then she could not contact her. Then she noticed that her phone has no signal.

"What is happening?" she muttered.

Feeling a bit anxious, Ma Liling, suddenly tied her hair in a ponytail, while she put her stuff inside her backpack. She did not wait any longer in the dressing room and immediately came out.

As soon as she walks out of the dressing room, she noticed some people coming in her direction. But from the looks of those people, the bad feeling she has been feeling a while ago has now been confirmed.

Ma Liling always follows her intuition ever since she started in the world of show business. She has survived this cutthroat world by being careful and cautious. She did not trust anyone and only trusted herself.

So, as soon as she was able to see those people she immediately hid her figure and crept towards the back.

Soon she arrives near an alley towards the exit of the shooting location.

Suddenly, from the well-trimmed bushes on the side of the pathway, a few figures appeared.

"Haha… it seems that the little mouse was able to evade those guys…" one of the men wearing a leather jacket and has many piercings on his ears and nose said while licking his lips.

"I've never done a famous actress before… I'm getting excited as this would be my first time."

"Haha… You're acting like a virgin…"

"I can't wait to hear her moan under me…"

"Guys, don't ruin her face… I want to savor her."

The lascivious words of the men blocking her path made Ma Liling feel disgusted and nervous at the same time.

"Are you not afraid of the law?" Ma Liling said with a frown.

"Haha… Little missy, the law does not affect us. As you can see we have a backer, and that backer of us could always take us out of jail… So, we can do whatever we want in this city… Hehe…"

"So you guys are not afraid of the consequence then?" Ma Liling asked as she takes a few steps back with her expression turning into fear.

"Afraid? Well, we're just afraid that you would break before we got our fill… Hahaha…"

Hearing this, Ma Liling's expression changes into an angry one.

"Hey, look she is angry now, let's stop scaring the missy. Plus I can't wait anymore…" one of them suddenly takes wide stride and appears a meter away from Ma Liling.

Then he stretches his hand towards her wanting to grab her arm.

As soon as the man made his move, Ma Liling's eyes turned into slits as her focus heightened.

She could clearly see the huge arms of the man coming towards her in slow motion. Ma Liling did not close her eyes and watches the man's action with focus.

When Ma Mian(Ma Liling) was younger, she saw how her father treated her weak mother. The helplessness she saw from her mother's eyes and her mother's suffering made her swore that she would become stronger.

And so when she was in high school when her father left them after becoming successful and creating a new family, she also began to learn self-defense through her classmate who owned a dojo. From then on, Ma Mian became interested in self-defense and has trained hard to become strong.

As soon as the fighting began, Ma Liling's temperament seems to have changed and the men who saw this feel like they are facing a new person. She is not the gentle and angelic actress Ma Liling. She seems to be another person all over.

As soon as the man got hold of her arm, Ma Liling's beautiful pinkish lips showed a smirk. Then her body suddenly moved towards the big man's chest while her hand grabbed the man's arm following his forward momentum.

Then with a powerful force, she lifted the guy up and slammed him hard to the ground.

Her sudden move and powerful slam immediately rendered the guy unconscious.

But Ma Liling did not stop there; her figure suddenly came running towards the nearest person which caught that person off-guard.

With her eyes making contact with that person's eyes, his expression turned into fear.

Then before he knew it, Ma Liling's small figure vanished from his sight and then he felt a strong force hitting his stomach. Before fainting, his eyes went wide in disbelief upon seeing a petite figure below him with her elbow extended hitting his stomach really hard.

With two of their comrades down, the rest of the goons suddenly turned vicious. One of them takes out a small pocket knife from his pocket and the rest just encircled Ma Liling.

Three against one, three big men, and their opponent is a petite woman with a cute-looking backpack on her back.

"You should not play with knives, it's dangerous…" Ma Liling said with a crafty smile on her face.

Seeing the mocking gaze, the three men feel intimidated and suddenly the one holding a knife rushes forward to slash at Ma Liling.

Seeing this, she suddenly takes a step back, but suddenly one of the guys grabbed her from behind and then held her firmly.

As the knife drew closer, Ma Liling did not hesitate to kick upwards at the man's hand and the slashing motion turned into a stab.

The man was then suddenly gone off balance and the knife immediately plunges towards Ma Liling's chest.
