Never Forgiving

Evan initially planned to have dinner with Aviana since he missed the lunch that they promised. However, Aviana insisted that he go home as his mother would surely be worried if he were to go home late and with those cuts on his face.

As much as he wished to spend more time with her, Evan knew that she was right and he decided to go home early. Walking out of the building, Aviana came to see him off.

"I think you should be honest with your mother once you get home," Aviana said to Evan when they stood beside a car. "It's not a small matter and she deserves to know."

"I indeed think about that," Evan muttered. "It's not easy but I should give a try." He made a deliberate pause and added, "As you said, it's not a small matter and if I hide it from my parents, I would feel like I betrayed them."

Aviana Valos looked at him for a while and said, "If things get hard, you can call me. I will chat with you until you get better."
