This word was harmless but whenever Evan Livares heard it from his birth father or the latter's men, he always hate it. Maybe because he was now well aware of how things worked for them.
"If you can't stop as I asked you to, then there is nothing else I want," he finally said to his birth father after maintaining his silence for almost a minute. Though he wasn't pleased, he thought of how his biological father nursed him the whole night and tried his best not to sound too rude.
"You misunderstood me, son," Enea Morelli calmly said. "I ask you this as your biological father. If there is something you need, I want you to feel free to tell me." He briefly paused and his voice was very low when he added, "We might not see each other again after I left and for once, I want to do something for you as a father."
