Treason Plan

Towards evening, Joya was getting ready to go to the wedding reception of her sister and her ex-husband. Actually, Joya did not want to attend the event. It was hard for Joya to see Leo side by side with her own biological brother.

However, Joya's parents forced her and Irwan to attend. Lina and Agus even threatened to kick them out of the house if they did not attend the event.

For Joya, it doesn't matter if he gets kicked out. Precisely Joya will go with pleasure. But sadly, Joya's new husband is too dependent on them. He lives on the mercy of his in-laws. Irwan relied on gifts from his parents-in-law to just eat. Joya often hears this from her sister and mother's conversations.

Joya looked at herself in the mirror. Windy's former dress that her mother gave her looks right on her slender body. Joya's appearance looks beautiful and elegant. But unfortunately her beauty diminished, because of her gloomy expression.

Joya glanced at her husband who had just come out of the bathroom. Irwan's hair was wet and he smelled of body wash.

Irwan took a tie from his suitcase, then stood in front of the mirror, behind Joya. He tried to tie the tie around his neck.

Joya watched every move Irwan made. He sighed when he saw Irwan, who again failed to tie his tie.

Joya turned around and walked over to her husband. "Give it to me, let me pair it!" Instead of giving him his tie, Irwan looked at Joya while raising his eyebrows. He looked thoughtful. But soon, his face returned to normal as before.

"We will be late if you wear this for too long," said Joya, grabbing the tie around her husband's neck. Joya corrected the position of the tie, then tied it deftly." You can't wear a tie?"

" Not really. I'm just not an expert, "Irwan replied. "Where did you learn this?" he asked while touching the base of the tie that Joya had tied.

"I often tie Leo. I'm used to it," answered Joya.

The image of her being together with Leo was present in her eyelids. The image of Leo going to the office and asking Joya to feed him, tie his tie or fix his shoes. All Joya did sincerely because of love. But in fact, Leo did not appreciate it at all.

"Can we leave now?" Irwan's deep voice woke Joya from her reverie. Joya tried to strengthen herself. Her story with Leo is over and now her story with Irwan is just starting.

Joya nodded with a faint smile. Come on!"

Joya and Irwan came out of the house. They got into the taxi that had been ordered earlier. Throughout the journey, neither of them spoke. Only silence is created. They were both silent, lost in their own thoughts and activities.

Joya glanced at her husband who was busy playing on his cell phone. I don't know what Irwan did. But his face looks serious. Joya then looked at the ring mark on her ring finger. The circular strokes reminded Joya of memories she wanted to forget.

Joya rubbed her thumb over her ring finger, she tried to get rid of the ring marks on her hand. Joya hopes that by removing the ring marks, her love and memories of Leo will also vanish. However, what Joya did was in vain, instead of the ring marks disappearing, there was instead the peeled skin.

"We have arrived," said Irwan. He got out of the car and stretched out his hand to help her out.

Joya smiled faintly as she took her husband's outstretched hand. He stepped out of the car he was carrying. Once down, Joya was stunned to see Windy and Leo's posters displayed clearly in front of her eyes. Joya's heart throbbed painfully at the sight of him.

"Should we go back?"

Joya was taken aback by her husband's question. Irwan's face looked flat, but his eyes showed concern. Joy immediately shook her head "No. Come on, let's go inside!" he replied. Joya took Irwan's arm, then stepped into the event hall. Upon entering the reception room, Joya was stunned to see the lavish decorations that were presented. His heart hurt even more when he saw Windy and Leo side by side with a happy smile

"Finally you guys came," said Lina who suddenly appeared from behind. " How? Have a party?" he asked with a beaming smile

Joya nodded. Yes. It's very luxurious."

". Of course luxury. We've prepared this long ago," said Windy, who suddenly appeared behind her mother.

Joya frowned, "What do you mean?"

"Me and Leo have been preparing for our wedding from three weeks ago." He replied without feeling the least bit guilty.

"Is that right, Leo?" said Windy to which Leo nodded.

Joya smiled bitterly. Another bitter reality he had to accept. Her husband and brother apparently had prepared everything. They had cornered Joya from behind.

"So, all this time you have been cheating on me behind my back," said Joya while holding back the pain in her heart.

Windy was furious." Watch your mouth carefully! We're not having an affair. We just designed the future perfectly."

Joya smiled bitterly. "Whatever the reason for planning a wedding above marriage is still an affair in its name."

"Shut up Joy! You don't deserve to be rude to them," said Lina while clutching her daughter's hand. Joy turned to look at her mother. She was sure that her parents already knew about the affair between her sister and her ex-husband.

Joya let go of her mother's grip. "Why mom? They are already having an affair. And their affair is protected by you guys. Joya's own parents."

Lina waved her hand about to hit her daughter. But Windy grabbed her mother's hand first." Mom.. don't make a fuss here. All guests will pay attention to us.

Windy glared at her sister. " Be calm! Don't you embarrass us with that stupid mouth of yours!"

"I'm not sure you guys still have shame," said Joya quickly.

Lina was getting furious. He again gripped his daughter's arm tightly." Go you from here. You don't deserve to be part of our family. You're just embarrassing us, mom regret giving birth to a useless child like you."

Joya's tears flowed. Are you aware of what you are saying?"

Joya hoped that what she heard was a mistake. Where is there a mother who regrets having given birth to her own child. But unfortunately, Lina looked serious with her words.
