James's death
Monica was silent staring at Bryana who was still asleep under the influence of sleeping pills given by the doctor to make her calm and get enough rest. She sat on the edge of the bed, staring at her sister-in-law's big belly and probably about two months away from giving birth.
"Oh my God, I've known her for a few years. She came to Indonesia with a hard mind after her mother died, then married a man who turned out to be just using her wealth. Divorce, loss of fetus, cheated, betrayed, surely hurt her." Monica sighed and touched the surface of Bryana's belly.
"She has just been happy with her new love, her new life, and even with her future child. But why, why does this kind of trial have to be felt again? I'm fragile enough to be a witness to her every suffering, especially if she is going through it must be very hard...." She didn't feel her tears just falling. Monica was too devastated to see Bryana's current state.
