An Accident

And a lot of questions hit at the same time. Then I felt some presence. Someone was coming from the front road towards me. Actually the way of the road is towards me.

Coincidence it was Morris again

I hided the letter in my hoddie pocket furtively

I stood up and started walking towards him, actually it is my way to get back to my place.

One step , two step,three step

We were passed so close.

And he had a eye contact with me

I also looked at him just for a second, and ignored him like I don't care.

When I approached at my university gate after taking one more round I was full sweaty and really wanna go to shower right away. I passed the gate by taking slow steps towards my dorm when guard stopped me.

"Someone left your bottle here" he handled me my water bottle

Firstly, I was about to ask who handled him the bottle.

Then I realized that it would be Morris for sure. My bottle is more expensive than it's looks. It's not because of its brand, it is of the fact that my bottle had a small wallet where I used to put my money.

I thanked to god as it was my only savings of the month. I really don't need to count the money as I know they will be safe but I I did count in spite of the fact that what if someone else handled the bottle to guard. In fact, in the case of Morris I'm sure he would never do that thing…

I should be nice to him for sure. And should try somehow, to end up the fight of years between us.

Yeah why not. If Clare's can solve the problems of thousands of people in the world as a social consultant so why shouldn't I gave it a try?

So where do I start for this appreciable work?

From Henna and Nick relationship?

Why not

I will make sure to combine them in the next Saturday trip to Ankara

Trip day.

It is two days trip to Ankara. We are all excited. Both of the universities are going along. But here is the thing, only few of the students manage to go there.

So only two buses are full of the candidates.

I packed only two pairs of clothes. One for night, the other for the next day. So I have a small backpack with me with just essential stuffs. Also lily had but henna got a small suitcase with her because

" Makeup, Summer wear, Rain coat, long boots, joggers , heals if we got a chance for over night party , jacket if I need to look cool , what about a temporary hair spray?"henna said.

"stop stop stop henna it's just too much for one day !" lily poked her.

"Two days!" henna replied

"Okay girls be on the university gate  with your stuffs in 5 minutes" I said by picking up my backpack and left for the bus.

When I came out of the dorm, I clearly see two huge buses outside our parking lot. They were blue and sky blue in color. What a combination. Our bus was sky blue mentioned on our card.

All of the students were busy on getting over the bus arranging their baggage.

Myself too got the front seat.

When lily and henna came over, they noticed me right away

"What are you doing here nerdy!" lily said

" come have a sit" I showed them two seats at a side to me.

"are you dumb?! I can't be the front bencher" lily picked up my backpack and arranged a middle seat for us.

But I remembered my plan of getting henna and Nick along so I forced lily to take seat just a few seats backward

She agreed quickly on my view.

After some time, I saw Nick along with Morris and Issa coming over. They went straight to our back seats. In fact nick wave a Hi to us. I also furtively nodded. It's because the bus we are sitting right now was full of the opponents students. Only a few students were of our university. So I was a bit uncomfortable in this atmosphere. The bus started and we were recalled that bus would take 4 hours to reach there in fact the time also include a break of 1 hour near the Istanbul edge.

Nick Issa and Morris were just sitting at our back seats and I can hear them talking slowly.

They were talking about some restaurant over there.

Issa was suggesting an Italian restaurant but Morris keep calling the restaurant name 'Middle tree'

I guess they are going to have a dinner there but it doesn't seems like they are talking about taste, they were just talking about it's interior.

Well who cares

But deep inside I'm curious

My phone Ringed

JACK CALLING

"hey jack how's going?" I asked frankly

"Well good but I heard you are heading towards Ankara?" he was for sure in a traffic as I can hear car horns

"Seems like you too on a trip?!" I asked.

"No actually I'm on my second shift" he said.

"Well great"

"Emmy I need a favor" he said hesitantly

"Hmm say it up"

" Actually my mom is in Ankara so why should you hold a meeting with her just for some minutes I promise" he begged I guess

"Listen jack it's not in a favor for sure" I said

"I want to give it a try maybe things can settle between us"

"Umm ok I'll try too"

"thanks enjoy your trip if anything needed just text me"

"ok have a good day"

You know what?! I called that trip a trip of coincidences.

I did mean a lot of coincidences, and if I tell you the whole story about my last night ended trip I swear you guys not gonna believe that.

Okay let's start from the call I had with jack.

12:30am

We were sitting on a four seats row, so I decided

To do a mischief with my friend. I was sitting at the middle with both of the girls at side and there was a seat left next to henna

 I shouted normally to the back

"Hey nick come and join us I want to discuss something "

"Okay just a second" he plugged off his phone from the back seat and hurriedly came up to us.

He looked really fresh today. He took the empty seat at right to henna.

He nodded to us, like he did greetings

Then he asked what the matter

"Jack mom's wanna meet me" I said.

"So what's the problem" he asked. Actually last night I told Nick about our marriage clashes. I consider him an honest person so I better not  have any trust issues on him

"She wants me to give it a chance"I said.

"Emmy you already did that twice and I guess there nothing to worry about now"he said. I can see henna watching nick a, unknowingly I was starring at her side by side. I guess she likes nick way of helping me as well he was good looking too.

"Nick but I'm afraid I don't want to look back" I said

"Maybe your inner anxiety is because of the fact that she can convince you or maybe she can force on you?" he said.

"Maybe or exactly" myself too was confused

"No worries I'll be there with you" he said by resting his head towards the seat and turning back to his phone.

"Really? That would be great for me" I said cheeringly

Now he was showing some of his pictures to henna

I also pooped up to see the pictures and he let me to do.

It was his mother and father pictures of the last anniversary. They looked pretty happy together. So lucky because in a society that develop right now have rarely a successful marriage life.

We had a break stop near the sea. It was end of the Istanbul and we see the whole buildings from there. I went to a café to take some milk tea in fact lily and henna started roaming around to take some pictures. I only remember henna saying that

"Guess what ! I brought the beach hats yay" then I don't know where she went with her hat and phone.

After sitting there  for a while I stood up and started walking across the shore.

All I do is walking and walking until I get out of sight of my colleagues.

A point came where I saw group  of seagulls roaming around the sea shore, as expected there was also a bread seller over there. In turkey it's our tradition to feed the seagulls by throwing the bread in the air. I bought two breads from the old man and stand near the edge of the shore, I was just a few steps away from the deep sea. I was standing on a wood plank which take us just a few feet towards the middle of the sea.

I separated one piece of bread and throw it high in the sky towards the seagull, one of them hardly catched it.

I realized that I was a bit farther to give them food. So I took one more step forward towards the shore. And throw again a piece of bread in the air.

Then, one more step and I didn't even realize that I was only a step away from the depth of sea.

When I was about to take one more step towards the sea, someone yelled at me.

But it was too late

"Watch your steps idiot"

And I went straight upside down into the deep sea.
