Kayla yarns as she opens her door, then jump as Trish storm past her. "Are you out of your mind?" She demands. "I go out of town for two days and you go crazy and get slapped with a restraining order, what's wrong with you?" Trish said and flings her bag on the sofa. "The bitch had it coming, I told her to stay away from my man and now she's wearing his ring, no way in hell is that wedding going to happen." Kayla sneered as she run her fingers through her hair and stand before the fan.
"That means he has moved on, so let it go, or are you willing to go to jail for a man that doesn't give a damn about you?" Trish asks angrily. "I know he still loves me," Kayla said proudly. "If he was still in love with you he wouldn't have proposed to that girl, listen, girlfriend, it's time to move on from this loser, and….." "Don't call him that!" Kayla yells at her before she could finish her sentence.
"Whatever but if it's money you are after there are a lot of men at the club that is ten times richer than your mama's boy." "I know but I still love him but it's funny that you should mention the club because I was there last night." "You're way ahead of me on scoping out the rich man thing aren't you?" Trish laughs.
"Well I definitely will be cashing in on all that, Tina hook me up with an interview last night." "Interview? For what?" Trish asks raising her brow. "To hand out holy water, what the hell do you think?" Kayla rolls her eyes. "Tina introduced me to your boss, he liked what he saw, told me to give him a preview of what I could do, I did and he liked it and I got the job." Kayla laughs.
"You are going to be working at the club?" Trish asks in shock. "Well, it's not rocket science," Kayla said annoyed. "If you can do it, so can I," she adds in a proud tone. "Besides I need the distraction, or I swear I'm going to go crazy thinking about that retard touching my man," Kayla said with a deep sigh. "Alright but just be careful and watch your back, I don't trust Tina," Trish advises. "Don't worry I can take care of myself," Kayla said swaying her hips as she heads towards the kitchen.

"I swear, I have looked at this thing about ten times and I still can't believe what I'm seeing," Martin said turning the invitation this way then that. "Well it's either someone made a mistake or he's indeed getting married next month," Susan said as they get ready for bed. "Who is this girl and how did she get him to propose to her so soon after breaking up with Kayla? He usually waits at least three years or more before he even thinks of moving on with someone else." Martin said scratching his head.
"Why don't you call him and get a few answers?" She asks. "Hell no, it's still too soon for me to push my luck that far, I'm just going to show up at this wedding, congratulate him, and leave." He chuckles and pulls her into his arms. "But whoever this girl is, she's a miracle worker and I hope she makes him very happy, just as you've made me." He said kissing Susan passionately.

Janice has been in the hospital for five days now and the doctor says that she might be able to come home today, Tyler thought as he got dressed. "Still grinning I see." Caleb teased entering Ty's room and couldn't help smiling as he watch his brother admiring the ultrasound photo of his baby. "Why not, I have a lot to smile about, I'm in love, about to get married and Janice is pregnant, with my child, can you believe that? My child, oh damn, pinch me, I think I'm dreaming." He laughs and flinches as Caleb pinch him.
"Ouch, god damn, okay so I'm not dreaming, thank God." "I'm happy for you brother, you're going to be a wonderful father and I'm really going to need your help raising my child." "And you'll have it, by the way, you have confirmed that the child is yours, have you told mom and dad yet?" Ty asks. "Nope, not yet, still waiting for the right time." "There's no right time Caleb. Just spit it out and get it over with, what's the worst that could happen?" "You do not want to know the answer for that brother. So Janice will be coming home today?" Caleb asks spraying some of Ty's perfume on his shirt. "I'm hoping she will but we'll see."
"Damn this smells good, where did you get this?" Caleb asks sniffing his shirt. "Sandra's store, it cost four grand," Ty replied. "On second thought, I think I'll just use yours." "As if you can't afford ten of those?" Ty asks. "Yeah but…." "No worries, if you like it so much you can have it," Ty said laughing. "You're really giving it to me?"
"Does that surprise you?" "Not really, you're good like that but…um…I ran into Kayla yesterday and she said that if I even think of touching her she will make sure that we both spend the rest of our lives in jail, so where do we go from here?" Caleb asks. "Nowhere, leave her alone, we both have more important things to concentrate on," Ty said putting a few files in his bag to go through while he keeps Janice's company.
"But what if she comes after Janice again?" Caleb asks. "Then she'll be the one spending time behind bars but I won't allow her to ruin my happiness so I'm getting a bodyguard for Janice." "Good, you can use Javari, he's damn good at what he does and he's family," Caleb said as Ty heads for the door. "And um…thanks for the perfume," Caleb said punching his shoulder. "Love you too brother." Even though Caleb didn't say the actual words Ty reads him very well. " Now I'm off to see my fiancée." He said running down the stairs.
Ty was on his way to the maternity ward when a nurse came up to him and gave him a big gift basket, saying that it was from a lady whose daughter he saved a few weeks ago after she almost drown, he didn't feel right taking the basket because after all he was only doing his job and it would be disrespectful to return it so he turns and head in the direction of one of his patient's room. "The patient was a fifty years old man who was brought in after he was hit off his bicycle by a hit and run driver.
He had suffered a few cuts and bruises, a few fractured ribs, and a broken leg. He had no family and lived alone, no one came to visit him and Ty couldn't help but have compassion on the man that was old enough to be his dad. He enters the man's room and saw him sitting up in bed reading the newspaper. "Dr. Jackson, what are you doing here? I heard you weren't working today."
"I'm not, I'm here to see my fiancée, how are you feeling?" "I'm just peachy now that you're here." The man laughs. "This is for you," Ty said handing him the basket. "Wow, a goody basket, for me? Jeez thanks, man, so is your fiancée working today?" The man asks admiring the items in the basket. "No, she's a patient," Ty replied sadly. "What wrong wid her?" "Difficult pregnancy." "I can see dat you are very worried about her." The man observes. "Yes, I am." "don't worry so much, God is please wid you and will take care of your fiancée and your little one." He said with confidence.
"Why would you say that?" Ty asks puzzled. "Because of who you are. I've noticed the way you interact wid me and the other patients, you're the kind of person dat will give a man the shirt off your back just to make him more comfortable." The man said with a nod. "You go the extra mile for everyone dat is under your care and in my book and God's book dat means you're a good person, and God loves good people."
"Thanks but I'm only doing my job," Ty said in a humble tone. "If you were only doing your job, you wouldn't be standing here right now and you wouldn't have brought me this basket, you go above and beyond for all of us, you treat us all equally and you'll be highly blessed." "Thank you for your kind words, take care, and I'll see you tomorrow," Ty said shaking the man's hand. "Walk good son, God is with you."
