Martin had just sat down in front of the television with a sandwich and a glass of lemonade when someone rang his doorbell. "Talk about lousy timing." He swears under his breath as he covers his snack and went to see who it was and his eyes widen in surprise because out of everyone who he could think of who would be bothering him at this moment he never expected to see Tyler standing at his door. 'T.J hi, I thought you would never speak to me again much less come to my house." Martin said feeling uncomfortable.
"Do you want to come in or would you rather I step out?" He asks nervously. "I prefer to step in thank you," Ty said as he walks past him. "Can I offer you something to drink?" Martin asks. "After your confession; No thank you but to tell the truth, a part of me really wanted to hate you after hearing all that from you," Ty said coldly.
"But hate and malice are fruits of the flesh and I've really been trying very hard to live by the fruits of the spirit and that's why I'm here to let you know that even though it hurt like hell to hear all those things coming from your mouth, I don't want to be angry at you anymore." He said taking a deep painful breath.
Susan who had heard the doorbell came downstairs and pauses when she saw Tyler. "Hi….Tyler, it's good to see you, you look good." "Thank you, Susan." He said with a weak smile. "Can you ever forgive us for misjudging you like that?" She asks with her head down. "Actually that's the reason I'm here, to let go of all the anger, the hurt, and the malice but first, congrats on your soon-to-be new addition to your family," Ty said with tears in his eyes.
"You spend so much time being envious of me because I've money when I'm the one that should've been envious of you because you have everything I've ever wanted." He said with a painful groan. "You have a beautiful wife, two lovely children, and one more on the way and that's all I've ever wanted," Ty said wiping his eyes. "I've been plagued with this sickness since birth and all the money I have is of no use to me. It can't heal or cure my illness and it certainly couldn't help me when I was unconscious in the hospital, all I've ever wanted was to get married and have a family like mine. Be the kind of dad that my dad is." He said with a shaky voice.
"Everything I have done since I was twenty-one was to accomplish that goal; I…. I was the happiest man on earth when Kayla told me she was pregnant but then I went away and when I came back my whole world came crashing down around me." He said getting up and walking over to their window.
"There are no words to describe the pain I felt that day or the pain I felt when I found out that Tyrone wasn't my child. The pain in his voice tears at their heartstrings, Susan went over and hugs him but he pulls away from her and runs his hands through his hair. "Listen, what's done is done just don't waste any more time with petty jealousy, just be grateful for what you have." He said heading towards the door.
"You don't have to tell me twice, I came very close to losing my family because of Kayla and I'm never making that mistake again." "Good to hear; now I've to get back to work so take care of yourselves." Opening the door he stepped out and fills his lungs with fresh air before walking towards his vehicle.

Janice fixes faith's blanket and continues pacing back and forth as she has been doing for the past ten minutes. She had pushed him too far, she knew that now but three nights ago when she was lying next to him on his bed listening to him telling her about his day she couldn't stop herself from slipping her hand in his pants and massaging his thick shaft. She wanted him inside her so bad that she could scream and he wanted her too, she could feel his body trembling beneath her fingers.
He had then captured her lips with his in a deep heated passionate kiss as his fingers explore her soft wetness. She had arched her back trying to get closer to him as his other hand went under her blouse to massage, mold, and caress her full breasts. She was seconds away from mounting his erected shaft when there was a knock on his door, he groaned in disappointment as he straighten his clothes and walk towards his door.
His hands and lips on her were amazing, just as she knew it would be but it was a mistake nonetheless because she hadn't seen him since, he was going out of his way to avoid her and she couldn't blame him, she remembers telling him that she wasn't a selfish person but she was indeed acting selfishly because every time she threw herself at him it made it even harder for him to move on with his life.
He had called her a few times to check on her and Faith but the conflict she had heard in his voice broke her heart and after agonizing over her decision for a long time she had come to a painful decision, she had to leave, leave him, leave his family, she had to let him go.
She had told him what Caleb said about the different options of giving him a child and he said he would think about it but he hadn't gotten back to her on the subject which means he wasn't comfortable with the other options. He wanted the joy of seeing his wife's stomach grows with his child and she couldn't give him that so her only other option was to let him go. She had managed to hold her emotions together for a few minutes but broke down and cried bitterly as she began taking her clothes from her closet.
"Hi everyone," Ty greets his mom, sister, and aunts as he enters the kitchen. "Hi son, are you hungry?" His mom asks hugging him and kissing his cheek. "More like a nervous wreck, um… where is Janice?" He asks looking around. "She is in her room," Anna informed him as she continues to decorate a big birthday cake. "Why are you a nervous wreck?" His aunt asks. Opening his jacket he showed them what was inside. "Oooh." She said in awe with a wide smile. "So what's with the kitten?" His mom asks looking in the small box he had in his hand. "It's a kitten for my kitten." He said turning to leave." "Beg your pardon?" She asks puzzled. "I'll explain later." He said over his shoulder on his way out the door.
He knocks on her door and when she didn't answer he turns the knob and finds it locked he used his spare key to open it and saw her curled up among a pile of clothes and hangers crying her eyes out. He places the box on the floor and walks over to her. "Janice," He calls her softly as he moves the clothes and sat down.
She turns slowly and lifts puffy red eyes to meet his. "What is wrong kitten? Stupid question, I know exactly what is wrong." He whispers pulling her towards him. "You've been avoiding me and it's entirely my fault, I'm so sorry Ty, it's not fair of me to keep coming on to you, it only makes it harder for you to move on." She cried.
"And that's why as much as it's killing me; I've to leave, I've to let you go." She sobs. "Leave? Let me go?" He asks looking at the clothes, hangers and then he saw it, a suitcase by her closet and it hit him like a ton of bricks. "No, no you can't leave me kitten, you can't." He said kneeling by her bedside. "You came into my life at the worst possible time for me and you've touched my very being with your warmth, tenderness, faithfulness, and love and yes you can't give me a child but I love you with all my heart and I want to spend the rest of my life with you." He said taking the small black box from his jacket; opening it he took out a ring and placed it on her finger.
Janice gasps and her hands flew to her throat. "Good gracious, Ty this has got to be the most exquisitely beautiful piece of jewelry I've ever seen but I can't let you do this…I …can't." "Kitten, I refused to live my life without you and Faith." He said firmly still on his knees. "I know you love her but she's not yours." She said without looking at him.
"From the moment I held her in my arms at two weeks old she was mine and from the moment I lift you in my arms from that bench at the side of that road, you were mine but I was just too busy chasing a lost dream that I didn't realize that my fairytale ending was right before me, Janice would you please agree to be my wife and let us spend the rest of our lives loving each other the way we both deserve to be loved? I've spent the last few days doing a lot of soul searching and I've come to the conclusion that I won't be happy with anyone but you. I need you, I need Faith, please don't leave me. Please be mine forever." He pleads wiping her tears away.
"Well when you say it like that, how can I say no?" She asks with a sweet smile. "Is that a yes?" "Yes, yes I would be honored to be your wife Ty." "Oh thank God," He breathes out slowly as he got to his feet and pulls her against him. The kitten made a sound and she peered around him to see what it was. 'Oh hang on, she's yours." He said lifting the kitten from the box. "You bought me a kitten?" "Well not really, a friend of mine gave her to me." He said massaging her waist.
"She's beautiful." She said cuddling the animal. "But why," She asks. "Because she reminds me of you, soft, warm, cuddly, and she purrs when she is contented." He chuckled. "I always wondered why you call me kitten." She said with a soft giggle. "Well now you know but be warned, our little muffin is going to take her away from you." He said as he took the animal and put it back in the box.
"I don't mind sharing her with my daughter." She smiles as he pulls her against him. "Our daughter, now how soon can I make you my wife?" He asks in a seductive tone. "I don't know, about four or six months from now." She whispers massaging the front of his pants. "Oh man, I don't think I can wait that long, I say we do this in two months." He whispers against her neck. "Is that even possible?" She giggles as he nibbles on her ear. "Oh God, I sure hope so." He moans, kissing her throat down to the top of her breast.
A knock on her door made him groan and step away from her, he was about to fix his clothes when Fabian enters her room. "You guys seriously need to stop doing that." He said handing Janice a shopping bag. "These are from Aunty Sandra." "Thank you and guess who is getting married?" She asks showing him her ring. "Really! Oh wow, that is exquisite. Oh man, I always knew this would happen, wasn't sure of when but I knew it would happen, congrats little brother, I'm very happy for you."
"Well what are you waiting for, lets go shout it from the rooftops," Fabian said dragging them from the room but not before Janice could grab her kitten. "Everyone guess what, Ty just propose!" Fabian shouts entering the kitchen. Everyone gasps in awe as they look at her ring. "Finally!" Caleb said hugging Ty. "You have our blessing son." His dad said as he and his mom both hugs him. "And since the both of you can't seem to keep your hands off each other, I'm going to suggest that you pick a date very soon," Fabian said.
"We already did, we're getting married in two months," Ty said wrapping his arms protectively around his new fiancée. "Whoa. Did you say two months?" Anna asks in surprise. "Yes, but we could keep it small," Ty adds. "Small? Have you met our family?" Caleb asks shaking his head. "You're right; this is going to be massive." Ty laughs.
"Don't concern yourself with that, as long as you're sure we'll make this happen." His mom said. "Am I sure I want to spend the rest of my life with this beautiful woman? Yes, yes I am." He said kissing Janice's lips softly. "Well then let's do this but a marriage isn't a marriage without its challenges so prepare yourselves." His dad said pulling Janice's plait.
"You know, I wasn't going to ask but what's with the cat?" Caleb asks. "It's my gift to my wife-to-be," Ty said with a chuckle. "You bought her a cat, why?" He asks again. "It's his way of saying that I'm and will always be his kitten and I'm going to name her cuddles," Janice said hugging the animal. "I know I shouldn't have asked," Caleb groaned shaking his head.
