Later that afternoon Janice pushes her trolley down the aisle and was putting a few things in when a man walks up to her saying how sexy she was and how he wanted to get to know her and asked for her number, no matter how many times she said no he wouldn't leave, he seems to love the word no because the more she said it the more persistent he became.
She was beginning to get really annoyed and worried when she felt an arm go around her shoulders. Her head snaps up and she found herself looking into the eyes of the same guys that helped her when she crashed her car.
"She's taken, dude." He said in a cold tone. The man sucks his teeth and folds his arms across his chest asking who he was. "He's not very smart is he?" He asks looking down at her before slowly lifting his eyes to the man fixing him with a look that in her opinion could scare the scales off a fish. The man grumbles an apology and walks quickly down the aisle. Even though she was standing beside a brick wall of a man she still breathes a sigh of relief.
"Thank you again." She said softly. "You're welcome, again." He smiles removing his arm. "So does you being here alone means you've finally mastered the art of driving?" He asks. "Me, no, I haven't and I'm not alone. Ty's cousin is somewhere around here." She said looking around.
"Okay, don't worry you'll get the hang of it sooner or later." "Thanks, so have you finished the book I gave you?" She asks. "Actually yes I have." "And?" "And I would like to know more." He said.
"Good, then you can come to our Bible study on Tuesday nights at my home and Friday nights at church." She opens her handbag, took out a piece of paper, write her address on it and hand it to him but someone grabs the paper before he could take it.
For the second time in a few minutes, her head snaps to the person and she realizes it was Caleb. "Who is this and why are you giving him our address?" He asks in a very intimidating tone.
She glances at the man to see his reaction to Caleb's words but the man looks amused as he arches one brow. Great, now she was flanked by two brick walls instead of one. What was with these men and muscles?
"Caleb don't, he's the one that helped me when I crashed my car and I'm giving him our address because he's interested in our Bible classes." She said grabbing back the paper and handing it back to the man.
"Damn you're a real man magnet aren't you?" Christian asks stopping next to her. "I leave you for one damn second and bam, you found these two. Hey Samson." Christian said slapping the man on his shoulder.
"Who?" Caleb asks. "Well he's Samson because of his size and the good Samaritan because of what he did for Janice, so Caleb meet Samson the good Samaritan, Samson meet Caleb, Ty's older fire breathing dragon of a brother." Christian said with a smile.
The man hold out his free hand to shake Caleb's and after a few seconds of just staring at the man Caleb put his hand out and shakes his. "Nice meeting you, sorry for blowing up before, thanks for what you did." "My pleasure." The man said.
"I've to go, I'll let you know about the meetings." He said to Janice. "Okay." She said as he walks away but then she stops him. "Hey wait, how are you going to let me know, you don't have my number." She said as he walks back towards her.
"True." He smile giving her his phone but again Caleb grab it away. "Like hell she's putting her number in there, not going to happen." He said narrowing his eyes at the man who lets out a sigh of annoyance.
"Fine I'll put mine in there then, you can call me." Christian said grabbing the phone and putting his number in, then handing it back to the man who just nods and walks away. "It's people like you who keeps others out of God's house." Janice said to Caleb before turning and walking down the aisle.
