C77 Exposed

After getting the male princess cleaned up, I had Rem put him in a spare room away from the imposter. When the morning came, I went to breakfast and hoped everyone would be attending. Arriving in the dining hall, I was met with everyone eating breakfast already. This included everyone from the Bestia Kingdom.

"Good morning, Everyone!" I call out as I enter the room.

"Good morning, sweetheart." My mother replies with a warm smile.

Everyone else greets me as well. Standing at the head of the table, I address everyone as my expression becomes serious.

"I have some important information for everyone. I thought about doing this before today's matches but changed my mind after some thought. After all, this is a bit too important to be aired out before the public." I state with a serious look on my face.

"What do you have to say, son?" My father asks as everyone gives me their undivided attention.

"Well, first of all, I have a guest." I say and the doors open revealing the real princess in all of her current manliness. "I would like you all to meet Princess Aella Bestia." I introduce everyone with a playful smile.

"Is this some sort of joke?" The beast king asks with a look of confusion.

"No, it isn't. You should say hello to your daughter. After all, you haven't seen her in a few years." I say and the imposter is starting to look antsy.

"Son, what is going on?" My dad asks.

"Little miss imposter, would you like to tell everyone what's going on?" I ask and stare straight at the fake princess.

Everyone else's gaze follows mine and stares at the imposter with confusion. Princess Ruby seems to have caught on and stares at the imposter with a look of realization.

"You aren't my sister, are you?" Ruby asks with a shaky voice.

"I see you've caught on, littlest princess." I comment.

"What are you talking about? Of course, I'm your sister, Ruby." The imposter says.

"No, you aren't. My sister isn't mean to me like you are. She doesn't avoid me and talks about me behind my back. She doesn't bully me when our parents leave the room. She doesn't belittle me every second she gets. My sister is kind and gentle!" Ruby rants with fire in her eyes.

The room descends into an awkward silence as everyone takes in what she said. That silence is broken by the crying of the real princess. He/she runs from her place at the door and hugs Ruby like she would never see her again.

"I'm sorry I was gone, Ruby. I won't let anything like that happen again, I promise!" She wails as she squeezes her sister in a warm embrace.

"Father, you don't believe this farce, do you?" The fake asks with a concerned expression.

"I don't know. Syrin, do you have proof to back up your claim?" The beast king asks.

"Yeah, just give me a second." I say and call for Souei. He exits my shadow and looks to me for a command. "Force her to admit her crimes before everyone here. Oh, and make her turn herself and the real princess back to normal." I order and Souei appears next to the imposter and grabs her head.

"Wait, don't you dare lay a hand on my daughter!" The beast king demands.

"Be quiet and enjoy the show." I say and wave my hand dismissively.

"You heard masters orders." Souei says to the imposter.

The imposter's eyes glaze over and suddenly her skin morphs revealing an old man. Oh god, I think I'm going to be sick. I'm going to have to kill him, but that can wait for later I guess. Audible gasps resound throughout the dining hall as the princess is revealed to be a fake. Next, the real princess morphs as well. Turning from a man to a beautiful princess. She looks a bit underfed, but That's nothing a healthy diet from now on can't fix. When the princess noticed that she's back to normal, she cries louder with a huge smile on her face.

"W-w-what?!" The beast king exclaims as he looks back and forth between the imposter and his real daughter.

"A few years ago, I was ordered by the Eos Empire to infiltrate the royal family of the Bestia Kingdom. I managed to impersonate the personal maid of the first princess and used that as an in to get to the princess herself. I then captured princess Aella and used her blood to transform myself into her spitting image. Princess Aella was still needed in case I needed more blood, so I transformed her into a random homeless man and had her locked up in the dungeons. She's resided there ever since." The old man imposter informs us all in a monotone voice as his eyes are clouded over.

"Is that good enough proof for you?" I ask with an 'I told you so' attitude.

The beast king went from confused to absolute furious. He dashed at the imposter and sent him through the wall with a right hook. He then rushes to his daughter and envelopes them in a warm hug.

"I think we should give them some alone time." My father says and mother nods in agreement as well.

"Sure, let's go and get some snacks from the kitchens. Souei, secure the imposter and imprison him in the dungeons. I'm sure he has more valuable information for us." I say as my parents and I exit the dining hall.

On our way out, I could hear the beast king apologizing over and over for not protecting his daughter as he should have.
